It’s how two of the stars from ‘Preacher’ got their roles thru the failed movie of ‘Warcraft’-they had already worked together.
ps-I can already see why this movie failed...you feel absolutely no connection to the characters.

Understanding Social connectivity or networking.
Social networks are more than facebook or twitter. Social networks have been around as long as a people have interacted with each other. By any form of communication with anyone else it ties us into their social network. Now simple forms of brief communication between 2 strangers may not seem like much it is still a connection of 2 people each with their own unique network. These ties are thin compared to the ties between friends and family that have been being built for a long period of time. Facebook and twitter are really nothing new, none of the internet social networks are. They are just an adaptation of basic forms of communication that are able to reach more people quicker than we where able to before. These forms of communication are basic. The communication model never changes. We have a creator of the message that transcodes it and sends it. A receiver accepts it and decodes it and interprets it. This hasn't changed and has yet to change. But it is good to understand it and how it works. We each have unique social networks that we have built for a long time. The ties between people are unique as each relationship is special. When we understand the basics of how social connections work and how to identify the stronger social connections we can use that to our advantage. Using that info for marketing or expanding your own social network is what can make you successful in either finding a job or starting a company. I have always been told that it is not what you know but who you know. My dad never went to college, but was a director of sales for a large company that provided computers and software for companies and organizations. When I asked him about his job he explained to me that not only that job but all his jobs hinged more on who he knew than what he knew. Think about this that there is always someone out there that is smarter than you so what do you bring to the table and what makes you stand out. Having a larger social network can help but also the quality of that social network can make a huge difference. The strategy of jab, jab, jab, right hook is a good example of how to maintain a social network. The strategy was explained by Gary Vaynerchuk and he explains that the act of giving in a social network is something that people seem to forget to do and giving multiple times when others aren't make it seem that you care about others. In the end that is what people want. They wanted to know that someone cares and is willing to take the time. Having a strong social network builds trust and that trust can lead to access to their social network as well. This can help build a new social network that is twice as big. So in one connection you have pretty much doubled your social network and if you keep doing this your social network is stronger and greater. I have gotten jobs this way through word of mouth and connections between people. I have not had to market myself yet and the job is still growing. So understand how your social network has built and know how to grow it even more. Knowing that can build your new social network and can open many doors to new opportunities. The networks you build when you are young are more important than what you learn when you are young.
