When Jimin sets his eyes on Namjoon for the first time, it’s in the dingy, dirty bathroom of a club that Taehyung dragged him to.
Despite their surroundings, Jimin finds that Namjoon can look just about good anywhere. A club bathroom, Jimin’s bed, Jimin’s couch, the grocery store, the laundry mat, the library, or the courthouse standing in front of a judge wearing his best suit and a joyful smile on his face as they sign the appropriate papers to get married.
It would be just like Jimin to get to see Namjoon in all those places and more because what was meant to be only a one-night stand turned out to be anything but.

Who in their right mind decides to do something scary at Christmas? Who in their right mind sends a bunch of hormone-laden teenagers wandering through a forest alone? Your class was obviously crazy enough to do something like that.
Of course the festival organizers loved the idea. A Santa Claus hunt in the middle of the Christmas trees. The winner would get a beautiful and great gift. All people had to do was enter the pine forest (which conveniently existed next to the college) and find the lost Santa Claus (one of the costumed students). While they searched, the other students would hide in the trees and play tricks on the adventurers. It would really be a fantastic idea if the forest wasn't too big and it wasn't easy to get lost in there. What happened to you and your duo.
You glanced at Namjoon, who was wearing a brown jumpsuit, a horned bow on his head, and a clown nose covering his own nose. How could anyone imagine that a reindeer costume would scare anyone? When he looked at you, you quickly looked away, looking back through the forest that seemed totally deserted.
"Are you tired?" Namjoon asked suddenly, drawing your attention back to him.
"Not exactly," you answered. That wasn't a lie. Even though you were walking through the woods for an hour or so, you weren't tired. Your legs hurt a little, but it was the fault of the light footsteps you tried to take so as not to sink into the snow that was highest in that part of the forest. Your belly was protesting, but you weren't hungry or anything, it was simply because the butterflies that invaded your stomach when you found out that Namjoon was going to be your pair wouldn't stop beating their wings for even a minute.
"Want to stop to rest?" He asked, but his eyes were on the forest ahead of him.
"Aren't we going to have problems if they see us outside our marking?" You asked, although you really wanted to stop looking for the tree that bore your name and Namjoon's. You were definitely lost and it was no use to keep looking. But of course you would do what Namjoon thought best.
“Honestly,” he replied, sighing and stopping, “I don't think we'll find this tree. We're pretty lost and it's all my fault because I didn't want to admit it.”
"I don't think it's your fault," you reassured him. "I didn't want to admit it either, let alone say you didn't know what you were doing."
Namjoon laughed and looked at you. He really looked from your head to your feet.
"I really think we should take a break and stay near one of those trees," he said, looking around and picking a random tree.
You said nothing, just followed him, as you had been doing since you had entered the forest. It was strange not to talk to him. Although you like him for a long time, Namjoon was your friend and you had already done several things together. You just had never really been alone.
When you stopped under a tree, Namjoon opened the bag he was carrying and pulled a red sheet out of it, throwing it over your shoulders. That gesture made you stand very close to each other, with one of his arms around your shoulders, almost as if you were hugging each other.
"I like your fantasy," he said suddenly, drawing your attention from your almost embrace. "But you must be very cold in that outfit."
You didn't like the pixie costume your friends had arranged for you. Not only because it really wasn't as hot as it should be, but also because green didn't suit you. Or at least that's what you thought.
"Did you really like my costume?" You asked, praying that he wouldn't hear the rapid beating of your heart.
"You look very pretty," was his reply. You were going to smile, thinking it was amazing that he said you were beautiful, but then he completed it. “I mean, it's not that you're just beautiful with this costume. You're always pretty. But that color looks good on you.”
That was even better than you had thought. Maybe you were wrong about green after all.
"I like your costume too," you said, then held out your hand, because you had been wanting to do that since he'd put on the costume, and removed the clown's nose. "That's all that was ruining it."
"I'm a reindeer," he laughed, looking at you and widening his eyes a little as he finally noticed your nearness.
"Now you are the most beautiful reindeer of all," you answered and smiled.
Of all the things you expected Namjoon to do, you didn't expect him to kiss you. But that's exactly what he did. And that simple gesture warmed you more than the red sheet that enveloped you both.
When your lips parted, Namjoon smiled and said, "It wasn't so bad that we got lost after all."
"No, it wasn't," you agreed and it was your turn to kiss him.
“you’re bleeding!” “i think one of the branches cut me” “how--”
namjoon only wanted a plant he could baby when he was feeling down or a little stressed, but no one ever told him how much work it’d actually be. well, until he visited park’s bonsai nursery, owned by the strictest and prettiest botanist joon has ever seen.
or, where jimin meets a shy boy who knows nothing about bonsai trees and yet can’t help but entertain joon’s questions about what exact angle he should face his tree towards the sun or secretly admire the dimples that soften his face when he smiles too hard.
