So, what happens if Rin's mother was not killed by bandits, if she had survived the ordeal and has been desperately looking for her daughter ever since... she's been chasing rumors of a small orphaned girl with a great white demon all the way to Musashi.

And Rin's mom sees Rin, runs up to hug her daughter (who she had too young) and... meets a certain daiyōkai.

Tell me that this is not the ship we hadn't seen on the horizon but is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

Not gonna lie, there is one line in the story that got my heart in a grip and, as kagome, wanted to hug Inuyasha. Or is just me? Nahh, look at his face!

How hard is to find good people? and like we, Inuyasha just want to be accepted.

Good thing he has Kagome and I have you guys and the wonderful people of the fandom

At the end January, I was struggling with a hard anniversary. They say that grief is the price we pay for love, and on that day I was struggling, drowning under a wave of memories I couldn't push away. My friends in the Inuyasha fandom came to my rescue, distracting me with an equally large wave of stories and art. I felt so loved!

One of the stories was by @neutronstarchild, a gorgeously fluffy AU of Inuyasha as the owner of Dog Days Ice Cream Shoppe, a man with a seemingly gruff exterior that hides a heart as sweet and delicious as any of the ice cream flavours he creates. I loved that story, and when it was Neutron's birthday, I created this piece of art for her, which illustrates the moment Kagome and Souta first walk into his shop.

She's just let me know that the first chapter of

Chocolate and Raspberries

will be posted on Wednesday. So as a teaser, enjoy this piece of art. I just know you're gonna love that story as much as I did!

💓 Sessmir and Sesssan. At first I was like, ”oh?” And then I was like, “Oh 😏.”

💔 Inukik. They’re tragic due to Naraku, but I also think they’re a tragic pair because they wouldn’t have worked out in the long run even if Naraku hadn’t interfered. I think they were lost and hurt souls who bonded over that sense of loss and hurt and “what if’s,” but that Kikyo wanting to change Inuyasha human as part of an experimental wish is a no-no. Maybe her intentions weren’t malicious, but if you need to change a core essence of your partner so that the relationship succeeds, then the relationship is doomed to fail. IMO, Inuyasha and Kikyo needed time to work on themselves.
