"All jobs are bullshit jobs. Fuck Work"

A weirdly touching song sprung from a musical summary of 'The Goonies' that's carried by an odd undertow of working-class consciousness. I started thinking to myself, "No, not for me, this is corny and too twee", only to find myself calmly sinking into the chorus, those objections slowly going still. "It's their time. Their time, up there. Down here it's our time. It's our time down here." The movie itself isn't really my thing and outside of having a crush on Martha Plimpton, I don't think I gave it much thought at the time (I was 11 btw).

We didn't go to work today, we won't be going tomorrow. We choose to live our lives for pleasure, not for toil and sorrow.
I Quit!
Fuck Work! Fuck Bosses
i am becoming convinced that talay is also a part of thyme's mother's plan. considering how confident she is that this engagement will work and both ren & kaning saying something feels off about it, i feel like she would have to do something more than just get thyme a fiancee with a similar personality to gorya. talay is always talking shit about f4 to gorya and telling her again and again that People Like Them(tm) will never have a place in thyme's world. when it is clear that gorya is feeling insecure and doubting her relationship with thyme, he makes sure to reaffirm her doubts, telling her how they'll never understand that world and that they'll always be separate. thyme's mother is so confident because not only does she have lita there to make gorya worry in the first place, she also has talay to validate those concerns and discourage gorya from pursuing all this further. or at least that's my theory
