Okay I've sort of calmed down a bit after reading someone else's feedback on the book and boy! Am I glad to know I wasn't the only one who thought Dave was an asshole!

It is just a stupid book but i know I wouldn’t be able to sleep unless I rant about it so here goes:

I hate that Dave had to give in to Julia just because he loved her for so long and that he ended up happy while Julia was broken.

And I get all angsty knowing it maybe due to the fact that the author is a guy and therefore Dave ended up having his cake and eating it, too.

I mean Dave could have been the bigger guy but he ended up being an asshole, hurting both girls by his indecision, and he shouldn’t have because he obviously has a good head on his shoulders.

Only the author chose to turn him into an asshole because he can always use the “he is a confused teenager” excuse for his behavior.

Well excuse me because I find that to be a load of crap. Reality sucks big time!

I have never cursed this much in writing and I better stop now before I write something more inappropriate than what I have already written.

I wonder if I would get to read and love a “romance story” written by a guy because I am also not a big fan of John Greene so I hope that I’d get to read one story from this genre penned hy a man that I will love as much as the books authored by women.

Now, I think this is something worth looking forward to.

Only 6% into the book and I catch myself smiling already… hmmmm…. interesting!

Although this from the next page had me a bit worried - “He kept smiling, too experienced at hiding to let the tiny heartbreak show. ”

Whoops! Why do I feel that something crazy might have happened in the party?!?!?!?!

Gretchen… Gretchen… Gretchen… I wonder whose heart’s gonna get broken?!?!

I think it is my heart that’s breaking little by little because of Gretchen…

I feel like I should prepare my heart by reminding myself that not all best friends fall in love and end up together.

I am sorry Dave, because I too, cannot think of you kissing anyone else yet but Julia.

And so it begins… halfway through the book! Be still my heart!!!

My heart is officially breaking…

And now it has finally broken!

And I think it would be trampled upon as I finish this story. I am seriously contemplating on whether or not I should finish this one.

I am full out brawling inside my head right now. I don’t know if I could take this anymore but I know I have to see it until the end.

And the tears are finally starting to fall…

The final verdict? I HATED IT! I really did! It was not worth all the heartbreak and the tears. How can I go to sleep with this pain?!?!?!?! Aaaaaarrrrggghhhhh!!!!!
