“I don’t like this,” Pearl mumbled, half to herself as she straightened up and looked around. She was certain that there was a corrupted gem in the area--this sort of damage spoke for itself--but where it was lurking was less than clear. She didn’t like her enemies holding the element of surprise.

“Amethyst, have you found anything?” Pearl called as she walked over to the other gem, tilting her head slightly to see what she was doing.

💥: Pop a blown-up paper bag next to them.

It was rare that Garnet ever got startled due to her being able to see the future. However, when the large gem was distracted... Anything was possible. As such, when Amethyst decided to pop the paper bag so close to them, the reaction was very unlike her. 

“Gahh! Amethyst!” 

She exclaimed as she jumped in her seat, visor dropping down her nose and exposing her purple eye.

Garnet wasted no time, easily sneaking up behind Amethyst and hooking her arms around her. 

“Up we go.”

She said simply as she lifted Amethyst up, arms wrapped around her waist.

“Amethyst, turn around.” 

Garnet says simply, little did the purple gem know that she had already crouched down to her level. She smiled the moment Amethyst turned around, leisurely leaning forward to leave a quick kiss to her lips. 

“Got you~” 

Garnet said with a ‘proud of herself’ look.

Where’s Peridot after the little accident with Yellow Diamond? Well no where so far, however if you follow the sounds of distant groaning you may actually find the green homeworld traitor in the barn. Hiding. Fearing for the worst. Did she just make Earth even more doomed? Here’s hoping to no.

“Why exactly did we unfuse?”

Ruby asked as she fidgeted a bit, the familiar and comfortable feeling of being fused gone. At least Sapphire had made it clear she would not be too far away from her. 

“Because, I think it’s only fair we both get to spend time with Amethyst. That does sound fair to you doesn't it?”

Sapphire as she turned her full attention over to the purple gem with a soft smile.

“don’t do this.”

Pearl looked up from the gem monster which she had pinned on the ground beneath her. It was a shapeshifter and had currently taken form of one of their deatly beloved gems. Her arms raised and poised to strike, she shook her head before swinging down, piercing the gem right in its weak point, poofing it instantly.
