define satyrical
I might be late with this one, but...
Do you guys also think Zeus didn't really give a duck whether Ody gets home/Athena wins his game or not? He punished her for a whole other reason (2 in fact).
Lemme explain 🎀
I think he only reacted the way he did cause he interpreted Athena convincing all the gods and not just one or some of them as an affront.
In God Games he says "Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Athena, Hera, OR me"
And Athena managed to convince one of them, it would have been enough, hell even just stopping at Ares would have been enough (4 to 2 is majority and the greeks invented democracy).
But noo (😉😉 Poseidon reference 😉). She just had to go for Hera too. And how did she manage to get her on board? By throwing Zeus a curved ball, alluding to his infidelity and indirectly slighting him.
So, not only did she show hubris (by trying to convince all of the gods instead of one as was demanded), but also called him a cheater (not to his face but still) 😂😂
What a savage💪
Another interpretation would be that she was so sorry for Ody/felt so bad for deserting her friend (she just had an epiphany about their relationship cause of Telemachus, mind you) that in her desire to see him back home safe and sound/make up for her mistake, she overreacted (aka did anything and sacrificed everything FOR HIM, her FRIEND).
And now I'll retreat into my blanket cave and cry my lil shriveled up heart under my pillow, thanks for tuning in 💔
Controversial take, because I do adore everything about the plot of to sir Phillip with love.
But I do think that if George hadn't died making Phillip honor bound to marry Marina and produce an heir. Him and Eloise would have happily chosen to remain child free as a couple. Preferring to be the eccentric and fun aunt and uncle to their respective siblings children.
I'm not saying they're bad parents. I'm saying that if circumstances had been different, both Phillip and Eloise would have still gotten married, but simply not put much importance in having children. Which is why I think it's good that the show makes Phillip the kids biological uncle. Since, it shows how much he never factored fatherhood into his life until George died.
Same with Eloise. She discovered she was good at motherhood with Oliver and Amanda but she also never thought it was in her future.
I think as a couple with the topic of parenthood Phillip and Eloise are one of those cases of people being very good at something they would have never chosen for themselves, but eventually grew to enjoy.
And that's the tea
Kidnappers: We have your son.
Hotch: what? Hes right here
Kidnappers: Then who's been ranting random ass facts for the past 4 hours?
Hotch: Oh my god, you have Reid
Kidnappers: Please come get him, we can't take it anymore.
Ya deberías de entender que, están en mundos diferentes.

At long last, a re-work of my oldest Strifehart fic.
Sometime ago I posted a drawing of Cloud and Roxas as brothers and said that it was inspired by a fic I was working on. Well, here it is~~
Hope you all enjoy.
