Unpopular Opinions: Valentine's Day
I hate it. It is THE WORST holiday.
If your loved ones need an excuse to do something NICE for you, then this day is a terrible reminder of how they don't care.
They should always want to do nice things and Valentine's Day shouldn't be like this.
Prices of various things are pushed up so that companies sham people out of their hard earned money and make single people feel worse about themselves if they don't have family or friends who will love them.
Valentine's shouldn't be an excuse to do nice things for your loved ones. You should be doing that at least every week if not every other day or even every day.
If Valentine's is the only day your partner does something nice for you other than anniversaries, then you should dump them and kick them to the fucking curb. Get a divorce! Leave them!
