Real talk: I've been fighting with ongoing inflammation of certain muscles and I had to slow down drastically. This being said I had no choice but to only focus on the classes I teach and put aside any other workouts, limiting myself to mostly stretching. I've learnt over the weeks to embrace and make time for deep stretching, steam rooms, saunas and massages. Meanwhile, I lost most of my muscle mass over the weeks and started feeling a bit soft. Once this idea was in my head I started seeing myself differently in the mirror. Now this is a super important message to all you women out there! Know that the mirror is a reflection of the you, but the you that you think you are ....It's all in your brain's perception of yourself ! I started noticing it in pictures... I would leave the house looking in the mirror feeling a certain way about my body... then I would look at a picture my friends took and I looked healthy and and totally ok. I'm not the one to have self esteem issues but this triggered something in my heart. Why was I seeing another girl in the mirror ? I was being hard on myself because I couldn't do as much and the image I had of myself was totally off ? Why do skinny girls with " disorders " see themselves as obese ? Self love is so important and this " episode " really opened my eyes ... I know I'm healthy and beautiful and that's all that really matters but why is it that my brain is showing me this side of me that I've never really had ... horrible insecurities that are being emphasized when I look in the mirror ! It seems as if my brain cells took a bad turn and are full of criticism rather than my usual positivity and admiration for my hard work and accomplishments. Note self : NOT COOL - SNAP OUT OF IT!!!! IM GORGEOUS JUST THE WAY I AM ! AND SO ARE YOU !!!! DON'T BE HARD ON YOURSELF AND YOU WILL SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL YOU ARE ❤️ sincerely ... Natasha #newbodyart (at Dorval, Quebec)

Our long wait is coming to an end, I still can’t believe how amazing it is to have a growing human being inside of me. it’s not an easy journey although having you at this early age also have some advantages, it’s still not easy but there are some days where you make it super easy for me, I know that’s how you show you love me. Your kicks and hiccups whenever I feel lonely or happy. It’s another rollercoaster journey, all the ups and down from the start but we made it through together, all the stress, the pain, the scars, I know it’s all worth it. You’re all worth it baby girl.
