New skill acquired! 🌟 I wanted a Plagg, but the commercial plush ones were more than I wanted to spend for this costume, so I thought I'd try making one. I'd never tried needle felting before, but this seemed like a good first project! I started this little guy last night and finished him this evening. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty pleased with it for a first attempt. (I did stab myself quite a few times though) 😅 It's all made of wool roving except the whiskers, which are bead wire coated in hot glue (for the shape) and dipped in acrylic paint. I blended black and purple fiber for the body color, which in retrospect may not have been the best idea for a beginner project... I’ve been teaching myself to knit since last wednesday and I’m enjoying it. It’s fun but also stressful learning a new skill.

I should hopefully end up with a scarf.

If you also know how to knit, I’d love some advice, How the hell do I stop/counteract the sides from curling in on themselves?

As I've been practicing my carving lots latley i thought I'd show a cross section of my progress, on the left is the very first spoon I ever made, heading towards the right you can see a few things I've made in order with my latest spoon on the far right. I started knitting a few weeks ago. My first wool purchase (and obviously wrong needles for the things I wanted to knit), wip and the final product, a simple scarf. I used ~75g (one and a half ball) of yarn with 3,5 needles. I knitted a 33cm x 55cm recktangle garter stitch and stitched it into a tube.
