Masked. • • It is so strange and difficult for me to digest the fact that this is the new status quo. When it all began back in March, I couldn’t even imagine this situation going on for so long. One or two months top, I had thought. • • But here we are, five months in, and there is still no end in sight. And while I do enjoy the social distancing (I hate being touched) and people being more aware and careful with hygiene, cleanliness and crowding, it is scary and frustrating that this can go on for many more months. • • Until further notice (whenever that may be) we need to walk around with masks on our faces, everywhere we go, and it just doesn’t sink it. Every so often it suddenly strikes me that we are all wearing masks, and how bizarre that is. I just can’t get used to it. • • But we cannot stop our lives forever and we have to move forward, and if this is what keeps us safe - we gotta do it. And I hope you are all keeping safe and wearing them despite how uncomfortable and annoying they are. • • Also, isn’t it just odd that now every time we leave the house we have to remember to take our phone, keys, wallet and a mask! So weird. • • How about you? Is it hard for you too to get used to? What has been the hardest change for you? • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • #wearingmasks #wearingmask #wearingmask😷 #newstatusquo #strangetimes #strangetimes2020 #bizzaretimes #hardtogetusedto #quarantinelife #covidlife #coronaviruslife #personalthoughts #personalexperience #personalblog #personalblogger #hardtobelieve #whatayear (at Tel Aviv, Israel) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEE8sWMhRwc/?igshid=18sdgjwsorje
