Recently George Hu was in town, promoting his starring movie 《#HanDan》 at the New York Asian Film Festival. He was once again invited to the Empire State Building. Being positive and carefree in person, he's easily contended. During his visit, quite a number of tourists recognised him and subsequently requested for photo taking. This however surprised the tour guide who's amazed at George's popularity.
Today's invitee, George, an Asian artiste, is born and raised in New York. Due to this multicultural influential, he is well like by many in Asia as well as Western Hemisphere. He 1st visited the building in year 2017 when he's there filming for the drama 《#WaitInBejing 》and even had his, together with the other cast members' , photos hung on the celebrity wall. He recalled the visit was on a tight schedule and it was also late midnight. After 2 years, upon knowing George is back in town for the #NYAFF2019 , the Empire State Building committee extended an invitation to him for a 2nd visit to the the building.
His 2nd visit to the observation deck was fortunately better, the weather was fine and there's even clear blue sky. George simply can't hide his childlike personality, feeling so excited looking through the telescope.
George Hu jokingly complained that his 1st visit wasn't fulfilling. Prior to the visit, the cast had been staying up late filming. And right after the visit, they rushed to catch the flight back to Beijing. He was exhausted to the max. Now he can leisurely tour around the building. Reminiscing his childhood memories, he even went to use the vintage coin-operated telescope and wittily commented, "This round, I have special privilege, no need to insert coin. Yeah!"
