Brief Backstory:

-Has dyslexia and had trouble in school as a result. Was given provisions and lessons by Cheerilee, but still has trouble reading as an adult

-Has no problems with spoken language and maths.

-Was aggressive as a kid, and didn’t take bullies lightly. Often comes across as cold as an adult due to her wanting to protect those closest to her

-Deathly afraid of injuring others too badly after a schoolyard scrap she did to get back her younger brother, Calvados’s stuffed lizard. Calvados was scared of her as a result, and her mother Rarity was disappointed with her choice of attacking rather than seeking assistance

-uses a text-to-speech converter for important documents today, and also uses a speech-to-text converter to aid in writing

-Helped Nightshade discover her magical boosting talent when Nightshade and her were hanging out together and Caramel could easily shatter rocks under her hooves

-She is paid by Celestia when on “official bodyguard duty” for other royals, but refuses to be paid for assisting Nightshade

-Occasionally goes back home for apple harvest season

Brief Backstory:

-raised as far out of the public eye as possible (public knew of their existence but were heavily discouraged from harassing them)

-was about 6 years old when Lustre Dawn and Cupid were brought into the household (was meant to be temporary, but grew into a more long term thing)

-they didn’t understand why the kids were there at first, and why attention was taken away from them, until they found out Starlight Glimmer had abandoned the kids

-In Willow’s head, Starlight Glimmer became the “big bad” figure (which wasn’t necessarily wrong… at the time)

-They immediately rushed to taking care of their new younger siblings (“THEY’RE FAMILY NOW!”)

-Not the best sibling ever, but tries their darn hardest to take care of them

-Has a decent amount of arcane magic-uses runes to make things happen (e.g. made a levitation magic necklace for when they don’t want to get up, has security runes on their bedroom door)

-loves the idea of swimming, but isn’t very good at it. They prefer to use pool floats now

-sometimes hangs out with Floral Melody and Calvados, but prefers to irritate Frosted Shake and chill by themself.

Brief Backstory (content warning, some mention of bullying and violence)

-When he was a kid he loved lizards, and had many plush toys of them in his room

-he would chatter about them whenever someone gave him more than a few seconds to talk

-the day Caramel Apple got suspended was the day he took his favourite plush lizard to school for show and tell (I imagine he was around 5 at the time) and some bullies took the toy off him. Caramel beat them after getting the toy back, damaging Calvados’ and Caramel Apple’s relationship permanently

-even though Calvados went to therapy to try and process the incident, he no longer likes lizards, and actually panics if others try and get him back into them (he can handle seeing a lizard, but the moment people try and talk in-depth or give him a plushie or one to hold he freezes up)

-now he can’t stand to be around Caramel Apple when she shows signs of irritability (can handle small conversations about work or simple things, but dodges emotional conversations at all costs)

-after the incident, Calvados was given a handheld game console by his Aunt Scootaloo (she is in a relationship with Sweetie Belle) to help distract him

-videogames are his out from reality when things become too overwhelming, and he will happily talk about strategies to beat certain enemies

-he particularly likes turn-based combat in games, and it helps him come to terms with violence and injury (after the incident) he cannot handle realistic combat however, or excessive gore

-hangs out with Frosted Shake, occasionally Neapolitan, and other assorted “punk dudes” (aka unmade original characters)

-gained his cutie mark at an adult party where he sloshed some spirits into a glass and handed it to Frosted Shake. Even though it wasn’t as fancy as her typical drinks (she focuses more on cocktails) she still enjoyed the drink

Parents: Chrysalis and random changeling

Special Talent: no cutie mark (due to species) but loves architecture and interior design for mood benefits

Species: Changeling (post metamorphosis)

Age in relation to Flurry Heart: about 13 years older

Brief Backstory:

-Ulysses was a failed attempt of Chrysalis’s to create another hive leader

-in same clutch of eggs as Thorax-Thorax and was also born from an attempt at producing further leaders (alongside Pharynx)

-They allied the self with Thorax upon his metamorphosis, but found that Thorax was frustrated with their lack of transformation.

-Ulysses was lonely and frustrated at being shunned for not having the same appearance as its peers. It decided to leave upon turning 18, and became a citizen of Ponyville due to an offering by Twilight.

-However, Ulysses kept on being drawn towards the Everfree forest, and eventually found Monarch’s group of changelings.

-There was initial hostility: Ulysses still remembers how Monarch left with Chrysalis, and doesn’t trust em.

-In turn, Monarch is distrustful due to Ulysses being from a royal clutch. She can’t help but wonder if Ulysses is attempting to undermine her leadership over the straggling group.

-They have simmering tension between them, but decide to talk things out

-After a brief discussion, Monarch offers to walk Ulysses back to Ponyville-and one of the weaker changelings offers to come too.

-They are attacked by Timberwolves on the way back, and Ulysses shares its love in an attempt to heal the weakened changeling. They undergo metamorphosis, as a result, and emerge donning a similar look to Monarch.

-Ulysses immediately flees, as the similarity shows loyalty they are not prepared to share with Monarch’s group.

-Now, they attempt to uneasily fix the tension between them.

Brief Backstory:

-raised in a very loving home by Octavia and Vinyl scratch. He appreciates classical music, but eventually developed an interest in rock and screamo, and the emo and scene aesthetic

-has some musical talent, is a pretty good singer (and screamer)

-gained cutie mark when younger after mashing up some flowers and accidentally making a really nice smell

-will go on to make more sophisticated scents as he gets older, and runs his own little business in pony ville that occasionally delivers to canterlot

-is friends with Calvados, due to a shared interest in video games. It unironically loves games like guitar hero, and will go out of its way to find “cringey” games that like 3 creatures have played ever

-it didn’t go to school for a few years due to parental worries over bullying (and the incident with Caramel Apple) but went there around 10 years old?

-Vinyl Scratch has selective mutism, and tends to communicate via writing and some pony equivalent of sign language when unable to speak. As a result, Melody has a decent understanding of pony sign language and learnt to read fairly early

-older sibling of Circadian Rhyth. His birth was so strenuous on the family which is why the flower trio decided to adopt Circadian instead of having another bio child

-grew up with his three mum’s and thought that was the norm for a long time (thought everyone had more than one mum)

-helped pick and choose flowers for their bouquets since he was old enough to understand the question “what flower is pretty”

-both of his parents have textured hair-Roseluck used to straighten hers but has wavy hair naturally and Lily Valley’s hair is curly. Therefore he also has naturally curly hair

-Loves posing for photos with flower crowns and making them for his friends
