Neytek Leaders
The Neytek Chief is Storm Bringer. Fun-loving as a young mech, Storm Bringer’s humor has only grown with age. He is a second-generation mech; his father was son to a slave escapee. Storm Bringer’s build is blocky like a draft horse, and that lends him great strength. A master bowman, his bow is nearly as tall as he is. His son and mate was killed in the earthquake. Storm Bringer is capable of mixing a potion within his hut to show the immediate future.
Storm Bringer’s mate is Earth Beat. A kindhearted femme, Earth Beat took care of the Neytek as if they were all her children. A master healer, only the most complicated of internal workings were beyond her skills. It is rumored that if she had received the same education as Ratchet she would be on his level of expertise. Earth Beat strove to teach others her knowledge so that they too could heal others. Earth Beat was killed in the earthquake caused by a rogue Decepticon bombing test. Her infant son, Fleeting Steps, was also killed.
Fleeting Steps was Rain Dancer’s infant brother. He perished with his mother under a hut’s collapse. If he had survived to adulthood, he would have taken Storm Bringer’s place as chief of the Neytek.
Storm Bringer’s only living kin is his daughter, Rain Dancer. Rain Dancer was given to the Council by her father to be trained as an Ambassador to the ‘native’ peoples that inhabit Alaba. A master of the bow just like her father, Rain Dancer served mostly as a hunter before her departure. She learned basic healing and arithmetic from her mother, and practical skills from her father. She never picked up any of Storm Bringer’s dark magic abilities.
