I’m gonna be real, they’re probably gonna have the same thing going on as canon Nuzi!

That is to say, Z finds Neo to be really nice and catches feelings first, but when Neo starts falling, he falls hard and fast

Though this could be prone to change, the AU is still technically a WIP, and honestly I can also see it going in the ‘Neo falls first and falls hard while Z gains feelings second and is embarrassed about it’ route too

You might be asking how this translates to Episode 4 for example (I always saw that episode as confirmation that Uzi liked N, especially with the song that happens during their sky-therapy session being called ‘Falling… For You?’ and then y’know the hand holding scene) and how I imagine it playing out is at that point, Neo is genuinely afraid of being left alone, but he focuses more on not wanting to bother Z/bottling it up.

So uh, something possessed me while answering this and I drew a little comic of how the sky-therapy scene might go in the Swap AU
