(;╹⌓╹) = What scares the character
It's not something that has popped up too often, but Neht's scared of deep water. He can't swim! He might have been fond of the beach in his youth, but any aquatic adventures were limited to wading in the shallows because there was no way in hell he was going to get his hair wet. If you throw Neht in a lake, then you're just going to end up with an angry Neht aggressively water-walking towards you to give you a good talking to. One of the most terrifying moments of his life was deliberately drowning to complete his seven pilgrimages.
14:Talk about a vacation.
"A vacation, hm? It has been a while since I have been on one. Truthfully, I cannot remember the last time I have been on an extended vacation with E'hla, or gone somewhere aside from the market together.
"There was one time when E'hla brought me to a small lake, when we lived in Windhelm. She said the lake was her special place away from home, because no one else ever used that path. We were alone in the quiet, just the two of us in private. It was wonderful. Perhaps it is not technically a 'vacation' but it would be nice to do something like that again."
sad!AU: The sujamma is gone. All of it. Forever.
Which two threads of yours should we all check out asap?Which two blogs do you recommend everyone follows?
Ahhh let's see...
Icona's thread with Nherei should be fun. She has a real nasty temper.
And any thread with Asani and Morn because two adorkable ladies in love is great for anyone okay.
As for two blogs...in this case I'm going to recommend some not-rp-but-neat-reference-and-inspiration blogs
curioushistory has random things from mudskippers to snow sculpture to body art to abandoned hotels and everything in between.
teded is another educational tumblr that shows gifs from and links to fully animated ted talks that range from the history of vampirism to the music of ancient Greece.
“Yeah, I did it. What do you want? An apology?”
"I thought we had whacha call an understandin but maybe ya are as dumb as I thought, tryna pull that crap. Do I look like apologies mean shit ta me?" She scowls, ill tempered. "Replacements is what I want."
The Lord!))
What do you know of your ancestors?"We really doin this?" She looks impossibly bored. "Mum's Bosmer. Dad's Bosmer n half Redguard. His mum's Redguard, so I heard. Farmers, tha fuckin lot of em, 'cept Granny. After that, I don't give a shit. I don't give a shit now."
The Lover :3))
The Lover: What attracts you with a person?
Oh, I suppose I’m attracted to drive, to determination, to those who know what they want and how to get it. I like cleverness and I don’t simply mean being versed in history and all of that, but how they apply what they know about the world. And…I am attracted to people who speak kindly to me even when I am at my worst and I am often at my worst, people who don’t run away when they get their first glimpse of what I truly am, and for Ayem’s sake, I am definitely attracted to those who don’t see me as just some smiling orifice because there have been far too many of those for me to ever let my guard down. I’m attracted to people who, when you look into their eyes, you see fire.
…And if you mean on a purely aesthetic level, there really is something to be said for facial hair, but everyone knows when you’ve been kissing on a bearded man if they don’t keep their whiskers soft or if you haven’t got a tin of healing salve on hand. My poor chin has been rubbed red many times. That’s the price you pay for having skin as delicate as a flower.
Oh, and do you know how lovely it is to see someone who can carry you? It sets my heart aflutter. Of course, you won’t find many people who can lift me now, but when I was scarcely more than a boy, I had a lady friend who was very fond of carrying me around wedding style. It was all very sweet except it must have looked ridiculous because I have always had ridiculous limbs like a long-legged spider.
