Nibs and Marcus had been cuddling on the coach. Cuddling led to a little kissing, a little kissing led to a lot of kissing, maybe a little biting, also a few buttons undone. When Marcus pulled back with a yelp. 

“Not too hard, what are you a vampire?”

Nibs giggled slightly, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to, here, let me kiss it better,” She said as she proceeded to do just that.

I am now all for Wolf Children NibsxMarcus AU, ‘cept Marcus lives and they move to the countryside so Marcus can teach the kiddies to wolf, and Nibs shows them how they should probably not act around people.

Shots in the Dark.

Ok so this was inspired by the last episode of Castle. So if you haven’t watched that yet, maybe not read this yet? Under a cut for that reason! 

Maybe a bit long winded, I dunno.

Also no, Nibs and Marcus are not dead.

“Phew, it’s good to be home,” Nibs sighed, smiling over at Marcus has they both walked into the living room, Nibs throwing her jacket on the sofa, before walking to the kitchen. “I’m starved.”

Marcus did the same, throwing his jacket over Nibs, stretching, he frowned lightly, a slight smirk on his face. “You don’t have to cook, we could order something in...”

“I want to, it de-stresses me. Besides we haven’t had a proper home cooked meal for a while, what with this assignment.”

Marcus nodded at that, “True,” He pulled a face at the meals they had had, mostly greasy take outs, has they had gone after a supposed agent of the Hood, or whoever it was that the Hood seemed to work for, either way they had been an ally to him, or as close to an ally as you can get with the Hood. So he had been taken down, along with his cronies.

“I’m gonna get changed, put the guns away, maybe later you can join me in the shower,” Marcus walked up to Nibs, smirking, pulling her close, kissed her temple.

“Oh most definitely,” Nibs grinned, kissing his jaw line and seeing him off with a pat to his bum.

“You know,” Nibs called out, has some thing about the assignment niggled at her mind. “I think it’s strange that they only caught eight of his man, I could have sworn there were nine...”

“Let it go,” Marcus whined, putting their handguns into the special wall safe they had had built especially, “the assignment is over with, and I’m sure that whoever it was, will soon be apprehended, besides you probably miscounted, or he is long gone...”

“Maybe,” Nibs mumbled, getting some eggs out. Yes she wanted a home cook meal, but a simple one, so omelettes it was. It was what they usually ate after an assignment.

She was about to say something more, when she heard a movement from behind her, turning, thinking it was Marcus, she jumped slightly. It wasn’t Marcus. She started to give a shout, but it was silenced by the gun the infiltrator held in his gun. Nibs crumbled to the floor, gasping in pain has she lay there, wondering at why the gun had sounded a bit...off. Of all the things to think of, she thought, has she realised it was because he had a silencer.

Marcus looked up from what he was doing. He had started cleaning his gun, before he put it away, having noticed a speck of dirt on it, when he heard Nibs shout out. His ears had picked up something else too, a strange sound. Like  a silencer going off.

“Nibs?” He ran out to the kitchen, readying his gun has he went, when he saw her laying there with the man standing over her, gun aimed for the killed, Marcus saw red.

Both aimed at the same time and both shot at the same time, though Marcus had the better aim for a kill shot.

Marcus staggered over to where Nibs lay, falling down, ‘blood’ staining his clothes, ok maybe he should have moved out of the way first. He dragged himself over to Nibs who held out her hand, reaching for him has he reached for her, grasping hands, both looking into each others eyes, a small smile.

Before Nibs blacked out, she thought she heard the front door open, a vague memory of ‘taking the kids to stay with the grandparents, an angry shout and cries of “Mum! Dad!”.

“Argh, Marcus, I’m fine.” Nibs complained. even though her arms went round his neck and she didn’t squirm. “It’s just a twisted ankle...though I must admit..this is quite cozy...” She gave in pretty quickly, well the weight off her ankle made it feel a little better. She smiled at Marcus and then gave him a kiss on the cheek, “Thank you,”

Nibs: After this last chapter/report/I'll go soon! *Is dragged off to bed by Marcus*

Drunk Nibs:

Marcus: Go to bed Nibs!

Nibs: Only if you come with me *giggles* *is dragged off to bed by Marcus who knows she'll fall asleep as soon as her head hits the pillow*
