There's an awesome collab I did with @bxdd-e!!
I did the linework as she did the color and MY GOD, this turned out to be EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL!
but for context: this lovely person introduced me to their AU as well as its lore and got me so DARN INTERESTED in it, especially with Io and an OC named Nicaea! (ni-SEE-uh if curious about the pronunciation ^^")
I wonder if J|< R0wl!ng knows anything about Greek Mythology because if she did, she would NOT be claiming asexuals are "fake oppressed" after hearing about the horrors Hippolytus and especially Nicaea, Aura, & Polyphonte had to suffer through for being asexuals.
And myths often mimic or are a commentary on real life.
The oppression of Asexuals may have not been exactly the same as how Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual people in same sex relationships suffered, but even they were pressured for generations, and some in certain countries or conservative families still today, into accepting romance, sex, and marriages that a lot of people on the asexual spectrum did not want that for themselves.
They had to fight for their non-Heteronormative lifestyles to become accepted as well! It's disgusting that J|<R dismissed that, insulted them, and simplified their experience down to "they don't fancy a shag".

I designed all the Hunters of Artemis!
It just occurred to me. Gay Christians are three types of homo:
1) homo sapiens
2) homosexual
3) homoousian

In May or June 325, several hundred bishops from across the Christian world met in Nicaea, as Constantine frames it, to “face the cause of the division among you” (Constantine, Speech to the Nicene Synod, FNS 31). The divisions were theological ones, sparked from a debate between the presbyter Arius and his bishop Alexander of Alexandria, but had overflowed into the broader world. This council and the resulting creed have received exceptional attention in theological and doxological reflection, especially as it is recited by millions of Christians every week on Sunday. These reflections have sometimes obscured something important though—as a historical event, the council is shrouded in mystery. There is little documentation from the council of Nicaea itself, apart from the creed and canons.
