I really want Stiles to get a puppy. I want John to show up one day at the house and Stiles is busy researching and he's so tired but John just rubs his shoulders and pulls him to the living room where there's a kennel and Stiles just looks at John and John is standing there trying not to smile as they hear a whine come from the beige colored container with holes for air. And Stiles starts objectifying saying "how will it be with werewolves? I don't even have time for a dog with lacrosse and fighting off evil dad" and then the dog whines again and John just shakes his head. "You've been through a lot that normal people don't go through. I just wanted to do a normal thing for my son for once." And Stiles shakes his head but reaches down to see a small Dalmatian puppy standing at the back of the kennel and he unlocks the caged part and reaches in and sees that it's a she and John just watched with a smile as Stiles let's the puppy stand on his lap and sniff him as she shakes. "Thank you dad" Stiles smiled, petting behind her ear, causing her tongue to fall out of her mouth. Stiles tells Scott at school the next day, about how she slept with him and almost peed on his shoes and nibbled his laptop while he wasn't looking and Scott's face is bright and excited and promises to come over later. And when he does, Stiles is giving her a bath because she walked into something that smells gross and tracked it through the kitchen. And then Stiles hears voices down stairs and asks Scott who's here, and Scott just smiles as a chorus of "AWWWWW STILES!!" And "MOVE SCOTT WE'RE TRYING TO SEE" erupt as their pack looks at the puppy. Stiles ushers them out so he can finish cleaning her in peace. And then she's happy and even cleaner than when she showed up. And everyone is sitting in the living room so so so excited and puppy loves everyone, especially Derek who pretended not to care until she stood on his lap, her paws on his chest, and licked his chin. "What's her name?" Derek asks as Erica takes the puppy away from him to rub their noses together. "Dot," Stiles answers, Derek smiles over at him. And maybe when Stiles is at school and John is at work Derek comes by to pick up Dot and she has her own food and water bowls at his loft and she gets super spoiled from Derek mostly. And Stiles shows up at the loft after school one day to find Derek asleep on the couch, Dot laying on his chest even though she's almost fully grown now, and Stiles can't help but take a picture before he wakes his two favorite things up.
