So I somehow only just realized that Lando is, despite being in his third year of F1, still almost the youngest driver on the grid (apart from Yuki). I don’t know why that’s come as a surprise to me, but I think I thought of this year and last years class of rookies as younger than him, and I guess it goes to show how talented he is to have made it to F1 that young and already be doing so well (but I’m very new to F1 so maybe this is not uncommon?)

I also have to keep reminding myself that Max is still *very young* even though it feels like he’s been in F1 for so long compared to other people his age (the day I found out that Alex Albon is a full 1.5 years OLDER than Max…..I was shook lol)

well, so I really liked this question and checked some numbers, and: Max is going to be 24 years old in a few days, and I just remembered that both Lewis and Sebastian were 23 when they won their first Championship, which really is impressive. Max and Lance are the youngest drivers to ever stand on the podium (both were 18), with Max being currently the youngest winner of a grand prix - at the age of 18. Sebastian, Charles, Max and Fernando are the youngest pole sitters (all four of them achieved that while being 21). Lando is still very high and next to these names. I think it's nice to remember these achievements too, while still remembering about the chaos that might help certain drivers achieve that + some cars being faster than the others, but I guess consistency is key and this should impress us. Lando is very consistent at impressing everyone while driving in NOT one of the two fastest cars (Merc and Red Bull) on the grid and that speaks volumes. Go Lando!

          Being able to pay an artist for something you love that they created is probably the best thing about adulthood. I just bought a patch to put on my new coat, from Octopus Pie. Because I honestly love that comic to bits.
