5: how do you choose your characters’ names?
Usually I have lists of names that are appropriate for the theme (magical, historical), and I pick a name I think suits the character I’m going for. If it’s a baby born in-game, I try to think what the parents would name the child based on their personalities.
6: how long have you been working on your story for?
Depends which one!! HP started in August 2017 (and is nearly over, thank goodness…), Disney started in August 2017, Decades started in 2020 (terrifying that it’s already been that long).
10: is your story fully planned or are you still working things out? is there a definitive end?
I follow any challenge rules, and work around them. Some things I have planned, but mostly I just work things out as I go, based on how the sims interact, what wishes they get, etc.
12: do you actually play the game or do you just use it as a storytelling medium?
Definitely play the game. For very important scenes I might pose them, take things a few different ways, but mostly I’m just having fun and writing in response to what happens in game ☺️
17: what about the process do you hate?
Editing photos and queuing! I just don’t have time at the moment, and I always feel bad for disappearing.
