In case people are wondering about the original story that gave birth to The Crooker Path, here are the sketches I did back then. Silver Flock, Edgar Flock, some band members and little Nicholas (who now has a different fate in the Crooker Path).

“oops I did it again”

what’s this? another player costume design? this time it’s for nicki’s partner, benjamin! I had a lot of fun with this one, with a little help from benjamin themself.

I didn’t quite have a clear vision going into making this design. I started off leaning more towards something inspired by titania & rumour but ended with a design that leaned more towards crosse & cuthbert with athleisure elements. at one point I played around with adding a half skirt but couldn’t land on a version I liked. since the design was made to compliment lennox (the same as the shelly & dan one), one of the original ideas was a corset belt which later turned into just a crop top, somewhat keeping that same silhouette. with the shorts, the idea was for them to look like shorts and a skirt at the same time to match with benjamin’s request of “gender fuckery”

of course I had to give benjamin their own player name, so I landed on malcolm. malcolm is from the play macbeth, which is where the name lennox comes from as well. in the play, he is king duncan’s son and the rightful heir to the scottish throne. lennox is a nobleman who sides with malcolm against macbeth at the end of the play. their costume also has a real macbeth poster design on the back as a nod to this.

& Juliet 4/1/25 Notes

- nicki!may, ava!rosaline, romy!lady cap

- alison and gabe trying not to laugh (and failing) at something at the end of IWITW

- nicki saying “we can do that!” to the domino quartet at the beginning of blow with that one move on “blo-o-ow”

- for the first KAG kiss, nicki had to bend over and tilt their head all the way and then nathan was on his toes a little bit

- nicki putting their upstage hand on nathan’s waist on the last kiss

- nicki leaning over and baby talking nathan a little bit on “oh excuse me you think i’m into drama?”

- nathan shaking ass in the wings during the IWITW reprise

- nicki going in for a kiss at the end of WWFM

- makai making stupid faces at ava and making her break during the SUBG couples dance

- the hat falling off the virginal and right before it went down on the lift nathan just going screw it, grabbing the hat and putting it back on the virginal

- people were laughing during NAG. I am going to kill you with a hammer.

- “for once in your life you will not embarrass me” started off normal and then escalated into yelling

- nicki’s ending of NAG went crazy

- one of the very few times ever nicki and gabe would get to interact as may and gregory during SML

- nicki doing the pony on “rock my world into the sunlight”

- drew wiping the sweat on makai

- “[the appearance] of being dead” was singsongy

- the noise drew made before his last “I want it that way” was like a keyboard smash

- “I swear if he tries to set me up one more time i just-”

- “I guess juliet really didn't give romeo much of a…- uh chance to explain himself”

- “I jhu, egh- i know you have your own ideas about this play”

- “to be honest i never had much else”

- *gasp* “shhhh- and for our fifth a stranger i shall find”

- “gah! it can be whatever you want”
