WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH NICKELODEON????

Hello! Just wanted to let y’all know that I’ll be walking around CTNx this Sunday. If you see me please say hello! I am not assigned to review portfolios this year, but if you have a Character Design portfolio that you’d like share I would be happy to take a look. See you this weekend! :)
For those who didn't know who did the voice of Ms. Shuttleworth in the Loud House episode 'Potty Mouth', it was None other than Ms. Mindy Sterling, star of the 'Austin Powers' films, 'ICarly', & 'A.N.T. Farm', but voice of Ms. Endive of 'Chowder' & Lin Beifong in 'Legend of Korra'. But according to the Wiki site for the Loud House, this marks the Time Ms. Liliana Mumy, the past voice of Panini & current voice for Leni Loud, & Mindy Sterling were re-united together since they Both voice the Characters who worked in the Same Kitchen of 'Chowder' my All-Time Favorite Childhood cartoon, and that should count as Something. So here are the two Female Loud house characters dressed up as their Voice Actresses past Characters, Leni as Panini & Ms. Shuttleworth as Ms. Endive.
WHAT THE FLYING F*** IS GOING ON WITH THE NEW SPONGEBOB MOVIE!?????
So, I don't know how popular SpongeBob still is but for us older gen z, he was a big cultural icon in the 2000s and 2010s. Even kids who weren't allowed to watch SpongeBob still enjoyed him as a character. Even if you grew up in a country where SpongeBob was not popular, you would at least know who he was from toys, merch, foreigners talking about him, ect... he's literally one of the most popular animated characters of all time. Reminder that he was also created in the 1990s, and first aired on tv in 1999, the same year my boyfriend was born, and 10 years after Wallace & Gromit Grand Day Out first debuted. SpongeBob has been around for a long, long time! If you don't know SpongeBob, you've been living under a rock (just like his friend Patrick LOL).
Anyway, so I'm here to say a little bit of my opinion about the new SpongeBob movie, and where should I even start? The biggest problem has to be the fact they got freaking Ice Spice to be in it! Little kids should NOT know who Ice Spice is, she does NOT make family friendly music, and whether you like it or not, SpongeBob is STILL meant for kids and family. Yes adults can enjoy it too, but originally they were for kids and aimed towards a child audience. The amount of potty humor in recent years, is throwing me off, but apparently Nickelodeon still classifies it as being for kids. I blame Paramount, I wish they'd just shut down Nickelodeon and take over. I think Nickelodeon hired the wrong Dan to work on SpongeBob... Dan Schneider was supposed to be fired! They were supposed to hire Dan Povenmire instead! (Dan Povenmire is a good guy who used to work on SpongeBob and worked on a lot of other cartoons you might know. Dan Schlender is a bad guy... we all know the difference between the two Dans). Anyway, aside from the Ice Spice thing, why does it look like there's more potty humor than we remember. Everybody says "There were already dirty jokes in SpongeBob" yeah but NOT LIKE THOSE ONES! They barely had as many dirty jokes in SpongeBob and CatDog, as much as the lie action shows did. Rocko's modern life had a lot of dirty jokes more than most of the cartoons but they still weren't as much as what I'm seeing now. It's like this entire movie is about SpongeBob or Patrick being pantsless. I literally saw a clip of Patrick trying to put on pants and the way his butt cheeks were constantly hanging out it was creepy, not to mention, they had a hook go in his butt. It was so weird and awkward to watch!
I know things change over time, and yes, we did grow up but the new SpongeBob does NOT feel like SpongeBob! Someone has got to say something besides me! Well, at least seeing the new SpongeBob would be better than supporting Zootopia 2... but that's not even the biggest issue. I wouldn't want to see the new SpongeBob movie either because they basically tore apart a character who is meant to be lovable, not weird and sexual. I never thought I'd see the day where they sexualized SPONGEBOB! Anyone else feel the same way or am I overreacting? I can't be... someone else please speak up!!!
PLEASE! Please tell me your thoughts and reblog if you can! Idc if you comment or reblog, I just wanna hear your thoughts!
