It makes me so sick how realistic it is that everyone keeps insisting that Nikki is the one taking advantage of Bear even though it would still be Bear taking advantage of Nikki if the situation was what they were thinking.

They all think that shes having a nervous breakdown. But that would still mean that Bear was taking advantage of her mental state and uses her vulnerability to manipulate her into a relationship. If Nikki was truly as mentally unwell as they all think she is she would be in no position to be the one manipulating Bear. And even if she was trying to use Bears feelings for her it would still be really weird of him to say yes in the first place.

And they never try and help her!!! They only ever try to help Bear, even thought she is clearly the one that needs help.

I think a better wish for Bear would have been "I wish I had more self-confidence(or strength) that would let me ask out the woman of my dreams."

Even if his wish for Nikki went well and she did love him like he wanted, there would have always been that strain on his mind of "this isnt real." Because it isn't. It is magic forcing something that wouldn't have happened naturally.

Timmy Turner and Trixie from the Fairly Odd Parents were a great example of this. He thought Trixie was hot, wished for her as a girlfriend, and found out she was toxic and horrible.

Granted he knew Nikki pretty well by this point, so it wasnt like wishing for love from a hot stranger like this example, but still. He had never been intimate with her or lived with her. He was so short sighted and wrong, not to mention evil in the clearest definition of the word.

Then again, I'm expecting this closeted sociopath to have basic knowledge or care about self-improvement.

When Nicki gets in Bear's car right after he makes his wish, and she starts crying about her dad, I loooooove the way her body stays completely still despite these really shaky sobs you hear from her

It's like one of the first signs you get that everything that's happening isn't real
