ok, ok, you guys know the drill, but this time anyone can do it. i'll try not to make it too much about soccer ;)

1. Do a have a song or songs that will make you stop everything you’re doing and listen whenever they come on?

IM SURE I DO but like everything else, that particular song (or songs) cannot come to mind. i guess i dont do well under (imagined???) pressure. 

(but: laura pausini songs bc her voice is like an angel's and its so rare to hear her outside of like, my moms car)

2. What do you do to calm yourself down when you’re feeling stressed or angry?

i............draw. i mean, i draw for everything, but if i'm upset or DEFINITELY IF IM STRESSED i'll definitely be drawing--see: the majority of my fanart, done during finals.

sometimes i'll wash dishes but i have to be in a certain state of mind for that (or in the kitchen i guess), but one memorable time when i was working at my parent's internet cafe, i got into an argument with my mom and i set myself to shelling shrimp--20 minutes later i was all good. its good. 

3. Do you have or are you planning to get any tattoos? What do you want to get?

ive kind of wanted to get ἱστορία on the inside of my wrist bc im secretly mad hipster apparently, but also my freshman year i took a class on ancient greece and like, i read herodotus. like, that shit blew my mind in this weird way? it was this whole thing, that he like ~~invented~~ the "modern" concept of history and idk, the whole "knowledge through inquiry" thing just appeals to me? i was 17, its been stuck in my mind like some dumb bug since then. plus the whole history major thing--college has only exacerbated my love of history to this obscene amount, its so ridic. 

after that idk idk. it'd prob be history related things, knowing me. ...........or soccer things. no one let me near tattoo parlors come the world cup.

4. Do you want to have kids?

yeah, eventually! im from this huge family but my dad was the first from his side of the fam to be here and have kids, so there's this gap of 4-6 years between 9 and all my cousins so ive been ~~babysitting~~ pretty much forever and i just really love kids? ive always been like that lol, but definite emphasis on eventually--i wanna be like, at LEAST like 7 years older.

5. Are you a morning person or a night owl?

oh man SUCH a night owl. well now its partially my body still running on its finals schedule (which is terrible and i dont recommend it), but im always at my most creative at night anyway.

6. What is your favorite kind of art to create? (drawing, photography, writing, music, etc.)

drawing by far! i cant stop tbh, i dont think ive ever gone a single day without drawing some little thing? and it just grounds me i guess, during class. 

7. In your music, do you prefer male or female singers? (Or is either great?)

either! as long as its a good ass voice, im happy.

(ok, i skew a little towards female singers, but that's cause i wish i could sing as good as they can)

8. If you had to wear clothing of only one color for the rest of your life, what color would it be?

im boring so like, some sort of grey. but that'd be terrible!

9. Sunny weather or rainy weather?

neither >:( i like the rain and all and i like the sun, but im shit at like, humidity and summer heat, so i'll go for nice crisp autumn days.

10. Do you want to live forever?

you know my first instinct is hell no--every book you've ever read and tv show you've ever seen tells you no, right? but like..........i wanna know what happens after im supposed to die. idk.

11. What’s a skill that you don’t already have that you would want to learn?

..........play the guitar. all my uncles can play, and when they get drunk but not nearly so maudlin they're playing all the folk music from back home (also the 80s), i wonder if i'll be able to recreate that. the easiest way seems through guitar, but im really shit at actually sitting down and learning.

I’m actually looking forward to finals next week because - the way I’m choosing to look at it - finals means the last week of school which means I’m going home on Friday which means I get to be with my beautiful  3DS and television family.

I wish I could switch between two alternate worlds: this one where I’m a Chinese language major aspiring to go into the Air Force, and another where I followed my more dear-to-heart dreams and chose to be an Creative Writing/Illustration major. I kind of wish I could go back and make the latter the reality, but I’ve already put my cards on the table so I can’t really switch now.

Fun fact that when I’m at my mom’s house the lesbians outnumber the straight people 3 to 1 and it. feels. awesome. Like who’s the minority now, bitches? We fangirl about The Fosters and I Can’t Think Straight and it’s (when I’m not being moody and closed-off) a generally good time.

I’m so excited to be getting Fabelheim (Fablehaven by Brandon Mull in German) for my birthday/Christmas. It’s like my Harry Potter; I’ve reread it so many times and am just really fricking excited to be able to improve my German by reading it all over again.

Speaking of German, it is taking me way longer than it should to understand the difference in usage regarding zu and nach. I fuck those up all the time. Usually by using zu when I should have said nach.

Wow, anon, no. Just no. Sarah and Paul are great and while I love Cosima and Delphine, their situation is totally wrong. And rude, (shockingly rude!) coming to someone's askbox to play the whole my ship is better than yours bs. This is why we can't have nice fandoms.
