Job night 25
Went well, had two puppies form surgery upfront tonight they seemed fine no yelping or anything like that. We got some new dog in a could of pit bull/mixs all of them seems friendly and didn’t bark but wagged their tails adorably. Another new dogs is a gorgeous german shepherd whose papers were missing form it’s kennal so no real info on it, however he/she seemed curious and cautious but well behaved. The cats were lazy tonight, one of the new entrys was Westlee, he seemed friendly. So all in all a good night, got paid whoo! I have to schedule my class now and see if the other night watch will be able to trade a night with me.
Night 25 // Claire & Jefferson
Day number twenty six in this town. Night number twenty five.
She was able to contact her family, Joanna, and the Council, but it seemed like none of them could access this Storybrooke, where fairytale characters lived. Yet they didn't know they were fairytale characters thanks to the mayor, who was really the evil queen of a land far, far away.
It really was just too trippy for Claire. Never in a million years did she expect this too happen to her, even after becoming a slayer. Fairytales didn't exist. Faith, trust, and pixie dust magic didn't exist. As angst-y as it made her sound, life was hell. Magic was hell. It was dark and sacrificing of virgins like, not cheery and happily ever after like!
But for the time being, it looked like she was stuck there. She would try to go along and continue in her slayer duties, except there was nothing for her to slay. She guessed the fairytale stuff made vampires throw up rainbows and burp butterflies because this place was probably the least hellish place on Earth. There was no hellmouth activity there at all. Nope, nada, zip.
And yet for some reason, she still went out on a patrol at night. Just something to keep her from going insane, she guessed. Of course, it did lead to some very boring nights, not to mention she probably should be doing her schoolwork because yes, she still had to go to high school. (Storybrooke High. Go Unicorns!)
So, on night twenty five, while she was walking past the crypt that the mayor's father was buried in, it was only natural that when she heard somebody moving in the nearby bushes that she jumped them. Claire was just that anxious to kick Forces of Darkness butt.
Unfortunately for her, it turned the person she had just jumped was simply a fabulously dressed man, who had no wiggins whatsoever. He was one hundred percent mundane as it got for a fairytale character.
Claire laughed nervously and crawled off of him. "I am so sorry, I thought you were somebody else. Really, I did not mean to attack you at all nor would I have any reason to. I mean, you were hiding in the bushes of a graveyard, so, like, I thought you were trying to attack me, but you weren't, I'm assuming, and now I'm the attacker..." Oh my God, stop rambling! "I'm really sorry."
