1, 2, 7, 19, and 24 for the OC meme!
YES HELLO LET'S DO THE THING
Sorry it took me so long to get around to this. D: I was being MySims GARBAGE drawing a thing.
1. Who's your favorite OC?
How dare you ask me that?! I don't think I can choose, honestly... It's such a hard decision. I have many favorites. Lydia, my Fanboy & Chum Chum babe, is a good one. She's really cute, and she's all friendshippy with Kyle, and my best friend ships them romantically really hard and I'm TRYING TO RESIST THE URGE TO MAKE IT CANON BECAUSE EVERY OC IS PAIRED WITH KYLE JFC. But yeah, Lydia's quite adorable, though there are a few things in her backstory that need to get worked out. Then, there is Magnolia, one of my KHR! OCs. I created her as a little sister for a very minor character that I absolutely adore (Daisy; he got zero screen time wtf), and even though she's a huge Sue, I can't get rid of her. I've pretty much torn all of my KHR! characters down with the intention of starting from scratch, but they're all basically obsolete. Except for Magnolia. Magnolia is constant. And then recently, there has been my fan team for Haikyuu!!, Hikigaeru. They're all COMPLETELY NERDY MEMES (except for Minami who wants to punch all those meme-loving fucks in the throat), and all of them are so precious and gay for each other and-- //touches face ohhh goshhhhh... And I have a couple of original ones that mean the world to me, like Pan, my Panda Hero based OC, and Xenon, a librarian with an extremely faulty memory and his girlfriend is a baker except Xenon hates baked goods haha whoops...
2. Who was your first OC?
My very first OC was Cleocatra, I think. I was like 5 years old, and she was my cat furry imaginary friend inspired by what 5-year-old me knew of Cleopatra which wasn't a lot. Her name has since been shortened to Cleo, and she's part of a fictional cat furry band called Paws Up! which was totally not inspired by my love of Gorillaz what are you talking about haha...
I also had a few original characters throughout middle school because writing was how I coped with the hell that was seventh grade.
My first fancharacter... actually, there were two. They were for Naruto, a guy and a girl, and they were terrible. I used them mainly to roleplay with my friend who really enjoyed roleplaying with them for some reason, despite the fact that they were way unrealistic and didn't fit the universe at all.
7. Are any of your OCs and original species? If so, what's the species and who?
Yes, actually! In one of my stories, it's a sci-fi/fantasy setting, so there's a boy whose hair drips like wet paint and he literally leaves a trail of brown everywhere he goes. And then there's a woman whose body is made out of various kinds of planets. And there are many robots in this universe, even though robots isn't really an original species but yeh... I'm still working on this one a lot, so I'll have to come up with some more! And I don't actually know what the species name is called. ;; They have character names, though! Shiloh is the boy with drippy hair and the plant lady needs a different name so right now she's just Plant Lady.
I've also been working out different subspecies of demons because I like demons.
19. Who is your least favorite OC?
As of right now, Itsuki, one of my Haikyuu!! ones. I know I said my Haikyuu!! team were my favorite OCs, but I meant all of my other Haikyuu!! OCs. He's so annoying. He creeps on everyone's personal business and does nothing but spew shitty puns, so much that he can't even play properly because he's just thinking about puns. He doesn't know when to stop, and he's generally a shit to everyone. Does he even have a single redeeming quality? And for some reason, my friend Steph completely adores him. Honestly, I've never regretted creating an OC this much in my life, I think! X'D
There was also Crocell, one of my Ao no Exorcist OCs. He started out as a girl and was a total Mary Sue because I wanted to pair her with both Mephisto and Amaimon. I scrapped that and made her male. And then he was still bland, but because he was male, all of my friends were like, "Can I pair my female OC with him?!" Urgh.
24. Have you gotten cosplayers of your OCs? If so, of whom?
No! That'd be rad, though! Steph has drawn my Haikyuu!! team many times, however...
Maybe I'll cosplay my own OCs one day...
This was really long! Sorry about that! I tend to go on about these things for a while! But thanks so much for the ask!! <3
