I feel there was an update some where but can't recall where.... but is the next sequel still in development?

No, I'm sorry, I just burnt out and never completed it. I might release the first few chapters and fic outline I wrote, but I've been out of writing fanfic for a while now

Honestly, I figured that would happen eventually given how much I was writing (I think I hit 600k of reed900?? counting all the fics in the series, plus the extra patreon commissions that I did a lot of) so that's why I made sure to only publish fics once I had them fully completed, with a non-cliffhanger ending that showed Gavin and Nines moving a step up in their relationship

so I didn't get to complete the whole series and all that I had planned for them, but I'm happy and proud I did at least get them to the point that they accepted and communicated they would be Partners(tm), even if they couldn't make the romantic confession yet

L: How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?

Oh this one depends! If it’s something I’m writing from a prompt, I’ll usually only give it one revision (maybe a quick second read to smooth over any rough bits, if I have time and want it to be good) before posting it, since the expectation with those is a little lower. For something I want to be a solid, fully-formed piece, it can be anywhere from two thorough revisions to seven complete rewrites (LOOKING AT YOU SKR, CHAPTER 11)

O: How do you begin a story–with the plot, or the characters?

This one also depends, haha! Fanfic, I always start with the characters because I pretty much set out to write a fic for a certain pairing. Original stuff I always start with the plot, but hopefully grow the characters to the point that they drive the plot before it gets too solid. I prefer character-driven stories 100 percent of the time.

Oh it’s been an enjoyable read. I’m on ch. 31 of Queen’s Gambit (I just consumed Wake the Storm) and I don’t want to finish it because then it’ll be over ( though I do see you have other in- universe stories and a third part planned but still!).

I’m very glad to hear that!

Of the other in-universe stories, Sound the Bells (which is unfinished) deals with Obi-Wan in the Wakeverse before Anakin’s return, and Tales is a collection of scenes from the Wakeverse while Anakin is MIA (with one missing scene from Wake).  The third story is due to start whenever I finish my current WIP.

Wait, what's the argument that its not the best show?

All the characters are beautiful and well-realized, but even son, the show definitely relies on racial stereotypes. This article explains it better than I could.

To elaborate a little further: the Christmas special espouses some views about sexuality that trouble me. As my friend @ferspnai put it, Sun could literally feel Kala’s nerves about having sex with Rajan – why didn’t her speech about sex include the caveat that Kala absolutely has the right to say no to Rajan and shouldn’t feel ashamed if she does?

Also in the Christmas special, I am troubled by the presented equivalence between slurs like f*ggot and b*tch and the words “pig” and “Nazi” for Will and Wolfgang respectively. They are absolutely not the same. 

Both of these parts of the Christmas special were really frustrating for me because I loved Sun’s speech to Kala, and I thought the scene with the graffitied slurs was really powerful, but both moments were tarnished by the writers not thinking through all the implications. 

So again I say: I know that Sense8 is not the best show, but it is the best show for me.

This isn't an ask I just want to flail at you. ^_^ I discovered your Ouroboros series and it is fantastic in so many ways! I haven't been in the SW fandom for some time now (since RotS, in fact), but this has revived my love!

Heeey, I'm rewatching RvB (cause I stopped after season 8). Do you know who says the line " it's a pelican, not pelican't"? (Or am I making things up?)

been googling this one and i can’t find it online, anyone have any insight?
