Ridley’s insane enough jaysus christ… Think despite being pressured into it so that people will actually see his fucken film, it was a better original choice anyway… they made Spacey look absolutely dreadful w the effects, shouldve stuck w Plummer, who’s already a fantastic actor anyway
Yeah, I agree. Christopher Plummer is a fantastic actor and a better choice. Maybe Spacey’s scenes were not many in the first place. But imagine getting the cast and the crew back together, setting up the production, the set, and going through the whole editing process again! And they will be working against time! Lol maybe Ridley Scott is crazy enough to pull this off. Ngl, now I’m really interested to see this movie :)

this is so freaking wild, I can’t believe it’s happening. one thing though: what do they mean “christopher plummer is not a big enough name”?? show some respect for captain van trapp, man LOL
Lol seriously! Maybe they wanted a more active or relevant actor in Hollywood? Idk. If they wanted a younger actor then the make-up effect had no sense. Like @nightgerbil said, they made him look dreadful!
6 Movies I Can Watch Anytime
I was tagged by @livesinyesterday . Thank you very much! I guess we're talking about movies that we can watch over and over again and won't get bored of. So it’s not surprising that most of my favorite movies are not on this list since they’re all depressing and need to be watched with full attention. And also I watch all DDL films religiously so there’s no point to put any of them here.
The Big Lebowski
Remember the Titans
Pan’s Labyrinth
Shrek. And Shrek 2. But not Shrek 3. Shrek 4, probably.
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Some Like It Hot
I tag @nightgerbil , @comorbidities , @mhartimcfly , @10paper20heart , @mycrawft , @hermione-granger , @visionsworthfightingfor and anyone else who wants to do it :)
nightgerbil replied to your post: so emma stone will be presenting daniel day-lewis his fourth oscar...
the life-long dream i had of isabelle huppert presenting an oscar to ddl has been dashed RIP me
i was rooting for her too but it could still happen if only our man works more often and since that is not his nature... yeah rip to you and your dream
