So night two started off like a normal concert. Castle on the hill and eraser were amazing. Then we came to the a team which is where the whole night took a change. So here's what happened. During the a team, about three rows in front of me, the row help up signs. The spelled out please play give me love and then a few hearts and some Canadian flags. He saw the signs and smiled. Me and my friend looked at each other and just kinda smiled but rolled our eyes because we never thought he would play it. Once the a team was over and trev was changing out guitars, ed leaned in to tell trev something. Now, in the back of my head I went "hmm could he possibly be changing the setlist" but I was like ha prolly not. Ed then played don't/new man like normal. He changed guitars again and said"I haven't played this song in Canada since 2013". Me and my friend looked at each other wide eyed, both thinking omg is he really fixing to play what I think he's fixing to play. Then those first notes of give me love started. Me and my friend looked at each other again and just screamed. Tears immediately started to fall as we just couldn't believe our ears. I don't really remember after that. I have no idea what was playing on the screens or if ed even broke a string. All I remember is singing my heart out and crying. One it was time for the harmony part I lost it. I just stood there and listened because if I tried to sing I cried. It was the most amazing night of my life. A funny side note it took me a few songs to realize he took out dive and replaced it with give me love. I then went but I love dive, why couldn't he have done both Haha. I'm not sure if playing give me love through him off or what happened but I don't think I've even seen ed make so many little mistakes. He just kept playing the wrong notes or hitting the wrong pedal on the loop. It was weird but ed was still amazing and nothing could have taken away from hearing give me love live. The rest of the show was amazing and the crowd was on fire. They were so much louder than the night before and ed was eating it up. When a crowd gives 100% ed gives even more and it makes for a magical show. We were gonna try and sneak a little closer to the stage but the stadium workers were awful. If someone even stepped over the yellow line, they would come over and tell you to step back. So, we just stayed put until the very end. We went up to the barrier but because they were breaking down the stage we had to leave. We road the train back, which was awful and a whole other story. As awful as it was it could not wipe the smiles off our faces. I will never forget that night nor the my whole trip. I'm so excited for Nashville in a few weeks. I don't know if its gonna be able to top this and if it does I don't know if I will survive.
