Вам хватает знаний английсконо его на слух воспринимать? Я пытаюсь слушать просто фоном и регулярно замечаю, что без транскрипта я многое упускаю( немного обидно, что не могу просто как многие люди поставить его на бэкграунд и делать свои дела

да, сейчас в этом плане слушать его уже не проблема! конечно, я упускаю некоторые слова (иногда не в принципе их не знаю, иногда - просто не понимаю на слух. аудирование мне всегда довольно сложно давалось), но это бывает ооочень редко. зато миллион лет назад, когда я только-только начинала его слушать, я едва понимала каждое второе слово :D

19 - Comforting the other

21 - “They’re wrong about you.”

The thought that Archie was a bad person had never ocurred to Maxie. 

Ever. 

Sure, he had spent a good portion of his life angry at him, blaming him and wishing he would stop tormenting his life. But he could never bring himself to hate him or think there was evil in him. Not in the Archie he knew and loved.

He caressed his dark curls as he rested his head over Maxie’s lap, tears running down his cheeks, but too tired to cry with passion anymore. “They are wrong about you,” said Maxie, almost in a whisper, looking at him after a long silence. “They don’t know the real Archie.”

“I need to believe that,” he replied, a little less distressed, and a little more at peace.

“Then I’ll be glad to repeat it as many times as it is necessary.”
