Belial is a 5-piece Technical Death Metal band from Swindon, UK under Siege Music. Their newly released sophomore EP “Nihil Est” displays the raw emotion behind their heavy style and themes reminiscent of Slipknot and other “darker” portrayed bands such as in their music video for “Ø”. Songs such as “Eon” show a technical diversity that can be compared to bands like Born of Osiris and Rivers of Nihil. Throughout the whole EP, Belial keeps the flow going by composing the music with slamming, brutal riffs that will pull you more and more into their music. “Nihil Est” is a significant step up from their Self Titled EP. This band is not going away anytime soon and will only continue to dominate and spread their reign over the genres of technical death metal and deathcore.
