Probably(?) not Captain Rex, Sant was a Lieutenant in the Alliance special forces and is one of the commandos in the raid in endor, notable for his distinctive beard, and was first named as Nik Sant in Star Wars Fact File 44.

So "Nik Sant" (the white-bearded Rebel seen on Endor) might NOT be Rex after all...

Has anyone headcanoned yet that Nik Sant (the guy Filoni retconned to be Rex at Endor) and Rystáll Sant (the half-human, half-Theelin dancer in Jabba's palace) are related?

I just think it would be cool if we kept the "she was abandoned by her parents in Coruscant's lower levels and then tricked into slavery" bit, but then there was a surprise uncle who was radicalized by his dumbass sibling's cruelty and looking for her all along in between dismantling the systems that let that happen to her. Like I think that a reunion with a long-lost family member would be a cool end to both their stories.

And ofc Rex and Nik can both be at Endor at the same time (maybe Nik has some Concord Dawn farmer in him and that's why they look alike idk), I just think Nik is cool and coincidences like shared last names should be capitalized on.
