My sister, Nikki Foster
I wanted to let you know, if you didn't already know that my sister, Nikki Foster is running for a Congressional seat in Ohio's District 1. This district includes the western four-fifths of Cincinnati, and borders both Kentucky and Indiana. She will bring integrity and honor into Congress with a long career in the United States Air Force beginning at the Air Force Academy and then in active duty for sixteen years. She served the Air Force as a combat pilot having flown 3,000 flying hours and half of the 217 combat missions she flew over Iraq and Afghanistan. She is ranking now as a Lieutenant Colonel. Nikki is now in the Air Force Reserves serving as a USAF Academy Admissions Liaison Officer. Nikki is now working for General Electric in Ohio on their Aviation team. She continually serves her community and her fellow veterans looking out for them in GE's Veteran Network.
Aside from her impressive resume I can say that my sister is the most honorable and trustworthy person I know. She lives to serve her country as it's been a lifelong dream of hers to do so. She has committed her life to serve her country and wants to brings her servant leadership to work in Washington. We need more people like this in our government that will work for the people of the country we love. Even if she will not be directly represented me in Ohio District 1, she will be serving an integral part of our government and I stand by her.
“I’m here because I believe, as do many of you, that we can do better than the politics of this moment. Too many people are focused on the things that divide us rather than on our shared mission as a nation. If you believe that we need people in Washington who will put service to our country ahead of powerful special interests; if you believe that more veterans should be involved in making decisions about national defense and veterans affairs; if you believe in affordable access to healthcare for everyone, then join me and fight with me, because I will fight for you.” - Nikki Foster

Meet our exhibitors!
Nikki Foster was born in Poole on the South Coast of England in 1984. In her late teens she left Dorset for London and studied Painting at Camberwell College of Arts. After over ten years in London studying and later working for the National Portrait Gallery, she relocated to Dublin with her partner and two children in 2015.
Awesome Monster is a 28 page, full-colour zine which documents the first two years of the lives of young parents from the women's perspective. I have visually explored some experiences of parenthood with humour and honesty and without the sentimentality often attached to the subject. Awesome Monster has previously been distributed by Gosh Comics London, The Feminist Library Bookshop London, Housmans Bookshop London, And Cowley Books Brighton.
Home is a short 8 page, full-colour zine which details different responses to the idea of home: specifically a yearning to return and the pride one may take in ones country.
Putting the Boat to Bed contains 20 poems with accompanying illustrations which record a range of incidents and observations of contemporary suburban life. Several of them explore more personal reflections on family relationships: the arrival of a new child, conflicting personalities, duty, compassion and the loss of loved ones.
