since I still have a couple days before Artfight, I was able to fit in one more character reference!
Nilalo's a character I've had for a while now, basically ever since I first played Breath of the Wild. He'd sort of been on the backburner for a while. I played around writing some fanfiction with him, but nothing I really committed to. So I haven't really shared him.
Basically, he's a traveling salesman, much like those folks you can buy food and arrows from on the road in Breath of the Wild. His father is a Sheikah inkmaker from Kakariko, and his mother is a Gerudo warrior from Gerudo City. Their firstborn child was a son which...caused a bit of side-eye, to say the least.
His family makes sumi inks and powdered dye pigments, which he travels across Hyrule to sell.
Fun fact: His name is a matronymic that originated from an old Sheikah conlang that I unfortunately lost in a computer crash. But his mother's name is Talo, and -yan is a sort of masculine suffix. So his name would be "Nilalo, son of Talo" in this context. Someday I might pick that back up tbh.
His tattoos are pretty much just from my favorite Zelda dungeons.
He also is going to be in a Reclaim the Wild campaign that's still sorta in the works/prep stage.
