Who are their friends, their family relations, lover(s), foes? What sort of personalities really tick them off and what others do they like? Is there anything that’d ruin a friendship for them?
Her parents were killed when she was a child, she doesn’t remember them well. All she knows for sure is that she has to be like them because they were war heroes and all-around upstanding Republic citizens ― or so her grandparents said. She got an exceptionally strict upbringing, so friendships and romantic relationships were out of the picture during her youth because she just didn’t have enough freedom as long as she continued living with her grandparents. This is why she got super into fraternizing with her squadmates, and military became her first real opportunity to connect with people outside of the family. She sucks at maintaining strictly professional relationships when she likes someone, and she was repeatedly reprimanded for it over the course of her career. So it goes like this: “Major, you’re here to defeat the Empire, not to find friends.” “Guess what, I can do both!”
Her enmities are rarely personal. If she dislikes someone specific, she proceeds to ignore this individual’s existence and that’s that. She really doesn’t have the energy for interpersonal squabbles when she has the entire Empire of enemies to deal with.
She generally prefers chill personalities, but the most important thing for her is to find mutual understanding and be on equal terms. She has had a lifetime of people telling her what to do, she’s not gonna take it from her friends as well. So you either respect her decisions and independence or you’re out.
Now she’s in a stable relationship with Jorgan, though they were annoying the hell out of each other at the start and it took them a long time to get to this point. They’re still getting into stupid arguments on a regular basis.
Amazing @underestimated-power made this for our trooper twins — Nilarena and Narion. That’s it, that’s the essence of their dynamics. Patriotism is strong in this family.

And no one is violating the law on Nila’s watch. She can and will fight Meiyi because of it if Meiyi happens to get a contract somehwre in the Republic space. If there is more important stuff to do and no time to fight, Nila will just disapprove greatly and suggest finding a better job. She understands that all people gotta earn their living somehow, but bounty hunting, really? There has to be a better way. Like, you could defect to the Republic and join the military, how about that?I actually imagine them getting into a fight in some random cantina and then just talking over a drink. Because Nila knows when a person is alright, and Meiyi is definitely alright, she just needs to rethink her life choices.

She always knew who she wanted to be and what she wanted to do with her life, so this song suits her so well. And it’s not only about the lyrics, the rhythm reflects the way she lives her life — fast, relentless, always accelerating and moving forward. I’m pretty sure that nothing can stop her because she doesn’t know how to stop. She may fall and lose everything, but she will get up and gather the scraps of whatever there is left. She will continue walking unless both of her legs are broken.

8/10. She gives great hugs when she’s out of her armor. Imagine falling into a pile of big soft pillows — that’s how it feels like. But she has to be in a mood for hugs and she wouldn’t hug anyone whom she doesn’t know well anough for physical contact. It’s all about personal space, you gotta respect it.
