Okay, so, MC is incel and its reasons are quite similar to average anon's(from image boards. Not you my shy mutuals). Like he is so depraved of everything that he doesn't always realize if he hates something or like it. He lacks socialization, joy, love and pussy. So he hates the gal he desires(if you can say so. Anyways this word seems weird to use here but it fits).
People who say "It's literally 1984" kinda miss these kind of details most of the time and it shows that they never read the book themselves.
I know it makes a lot less sense than usual. I am in a hurry so I'll elaborate later.
