((I'm gonna try to get some sleep. But my paranoia paired with schizophrenia is acting up so.... I'm just hoping I can fall asleep before doing anything I'll regret...
Er. Snagging someone fresh to the court with the appeal of prettily packaged rotting fruit as his second does offer a few concerns. Though maybe I just don't like the guy.
You just rest up, and heal, okay? Duke charming venom will have to wait.
okay.
Madison came to the predictable conclusion that we are nothing less than Mulder and Skully from X-Files (you can easily guess who is who), then promptly fell asleep on me.
Time to sleeb before my mood tanks lmao
After thirteen days, I went to the emergent care where they treated my cold/sinus infection, hoping that some quieter one on one care would yield better results than the ER did at quelling my fucking HORRIFIC migraine I had. I mean, we all know by this point I don't expect to be pain free, but since when is it acceptable to kick a patient out at the same pain level you processed them in at? But I guess that's what I get for going to a hospital I know it's going to put me in the fast track area, not actually listen to me, pop pills down my throat, and send me home. There's a very good reason it takes me hours at the other hospital. Yes, it's hours spent waiting when I have a horrific migraine, and when I have one that needs just a toredol shot, the fast track is the place to go... But this time, this time was decidedly not one of them since I'd already tried that. I had no idea what the emergent care could or could not do. Turns out, he could only do what had already been done... But since he's affiliated with the 'slow' hospital, he could call them and refer me straight to the ER with recommendations. Instead of the standard percocet and zofran rondo right off the bat. The nurses talked to the doctor (because long wait for room) and while I'm technically still in the 'waiting area' but one of the lucky ones allowed on a stretcher, I get to get a shot of dilaudid and phenergan because of the circumstances. Something to know about me. I'm normally drug sensitive. That should have dropped me like a ROCK. I went from a screaming ten, to an eight - nine. I was still tearing up and crying of I moved my head wrong. But as long as I was still and pretty covered up, I was OKAY for the moment. I get pulled back to my room finally and they start an IV and give fluids to stay with. The doc finally comes around after trains calls (I'm just grateful I'm in pain and not a trauma patient) tells me she's going to give me the standard toredol/reglan/benadryl mix. I'm skeptical this is going to work, but agree because well FUCK I HURT. She forgets to tell me she's giving me dilaudid through my IV with that. The nurse did of course before she gave it, but of my god I was so fucked up and then BAM, alseep for 45 minutes after my cat scan (which was clear) My head hurts more, but I think it's lack of sleep since I barely got out of the hospital on time to catch my flight down with Peanut this morning
