replying to juyeon's text, you guys had decided to meet up at the same cafe you had first laid your very eyes on him.
walking into the cafe- you spot juyeon standing in line to make an order. you wave at him to greet him hello that he replied to by sending a smile your direction. if adoration was a person it'd definitely be juyeon because you couldn't seem to take your eyes off of him.
"you've been staring at me for awhile now, are you trying to make me shy?"
snapping out of your state of reverie and rolling your eyes at him, "you're already blushing" you retort at him to which he shakes his head after letting out a sound of amusement.
"no i'm not," he states, trying to keep a serious face, internally panicking a little. looking away to hide the blush that had tinted his cheeks but to no avail as you let out a laugh that catches his attention, that was by far the cutest laugh juyeon had ever heard in his entire life, either that, or he was just down horrendous for you.
the air slightly shifts the longer he stares at you, noticing the little details on your face that makes you a thousand times prettier than before. heart beating in his ears, about to speak up until the barista had called out to him after the person in front of him had already paid for their order.
you left juyeon to find a table for the both of you sit while you're at the cafe- soon spotting an empty table by the window. looking at your phone, there were no new notifications and that's when boredom strikes. looking around then staring at juyeon as he waited for the drinks, you start to admire him from afar,
he's got a really pretty body figure. small waist, long legs- he was really pretty.
he walks over to you with two drinks in hand but instead of sitting in front of you, he opts for the seat next to you. "i bought you boba,"
"i didn't know what else to buy for you but then i remembered you carrying one the other day so i hope you like it." now it was your turn to blush.
"your face is a bit red" he points out with a little giggle and cheeky smirk, proceeding to poke you in the cheek
rolling your eyes as a small smile etched onto your lips, then shooting up in your seat in excitement after you had remembered to show him a cute video of a cat you had seen on youtube.
fishing out your phone from your bag while he watches you. finally grasping your phone, you look at him with an eager expression. "i wanna show you something!"
not long after though, you guys fall into a rabbit hole of cute cat video compilations- both letting out squeals here and there.
feeling as if someone was burning holes into your head, you turned to see juyeon staring down at you- a soft smile spread onto his face.
he sends you a grin and points at your phone, silently telling you to go back to watching the cat videos. the longer you went on however, he started to notice that you kept switching between one hand and the other so he decides to put his hand out as a silent offer to help you hold the phone instead.
you on the other hand, didn't get the message. so you hesitantly put your hand on his then glancing at him after. he's been blushing a lot today,
his cheeks and ears turned a shade of red and he starts to blank out, "i..... i meant... the phone" he stutters out.
and that's when realisation started to kick in "oh..... i thought you wanted to hold my hand" you say, the embarrassment growing, it's a bit too strong right now.
would they have let me hold their hand if i asked ? he thinks. hm.. there's only one way to figure out
he puts his hand out again, "okay, i wanna hold your hand."
putting your hand in his like before, the both of you started to act like two high school teenagers in love (apart from the fact that you had just met each other properly for the first time)
and maybe just maybe lee juyeon wasn't too slow for the world.
