Of course this guy can only use dark magic with a very specific spellbook
Why shouldn't this one species just straight up work on wishes

Yeah, these two characters both use a crystal ball, but one is a kooky old lady who also uses slugs among other things to weave spells, and the other is a teenage lesbian who's utilizing literal eldritch powers, so they are very much not the same
