A Bit of An Update

Hello everyone!

I figured that, seeing as I've had a few people coming to this blog in recent days, I'd put out a bit of a quick statement!

I don't actively check my Tumblr much anymore, nor am I very connected with Ninjaverse. I do my best to respond to comments on the sites the fic is posted, as my way of saying thanks to those who continue to read it! I do check this blog roughly once a week or so, even if I don't make posts anymore.

For those of your wondering, I've moved onto other projects. Recently I've been working on my own book series and am a few books in. I intend on pouring my heart and soul into it, much like I did with NInjaverse. The fic was an amazing experience in crafting a long form narrative and, therefore, I intend on working hard to keep that same level of quality I delivered there.

Thank you everyone who supported and still supports the fic, and I wish all of you the best! Again, I'll check this blog occasionally so if you do submit or tag anything I will see it! Thank you all! NINJAAAA-GO!

Lloyd: A, a lot of people Monty!

Monty: Really? You think people aren't at least a little crazy?

Lloyd: Not all of them!

Monty: *holds up his watch* How's it going, everyone?

Lulloyd: Why is the Cave of Impossible Clutch even a thing?!

Movie Gdon: Stop worrying and start separating! We have a mile to the surface!!

Harumi: Andrus, Andrus stop it! I don't! Millie please stop him! Monty, I can't talk right now, Andrus is trying to infiltrate yet another one of my secret operations! Andrus wait no! Gaahhh! I'll be back!

Mage: Oh! Hey Monty! I'm practicing my lightning right now! I finally got a good storm to practice on- *static*

Over: ... I will not even dignify whatever you are getting at with a response as to my current whereabouts.

Monty: *turning off his watch* Well. Still think we aren't crazy?

Lloyd: I'm not! You're just, this is all a coincidence!

Monty: Says the boy who once ran headfirst into the middle of an entire army of Serpentine with nothing but an unfitted Green Ninja suit, then was tied up by an invisible snake in the training room, oh and the one that broke into Chen's base alone without thinking, threw himself into portals into other Realms, ran off to fight your revived father alone, led a Resistance in a complete takeover-

Lloyd: How do you even know all of that?!

Monty: I told Kai I was bored. I can keep going.

Lloyd: ... And what, you're not crazy?

Monty: Oh no, I am. You have to be to tolerate Ronin.

A Happy Holiday to You All

Greetings my followers! Happy Thanksgiving and near end of November!

I know it's been a rather good while since I actually sat down and wrote in this blog. The truth behind that is I've fully committed myself to working on an original book series, and the pre-planning and worldbuilding for that has taken me a rather long time to get right. That isn't to say that I've been intentionally distancing myself from my fanfiction; Ninjaverse to me is still an accomplishment I am proud of. Several big life changes have been limiting my time when it comes to writing, and atop of reading much more to immerse myself back in the world of fiction, I've been pushing myself to maximize my creative outlet into that new book series.

As for if I intend to do more with Ninjaverse right now, that I can't quite say. I initially had a vague idea of a sequel formed, but the amount of time it would take to write it and once again dive back into the worlds I made would be a massive investment. For that reason, I've been holding back on developing it. For now, I'm content to let Ninjverse stand alone, and take what I learned from the experience forward with me.

Who Was Your Favorite?

This was a small question on my mind that I've been thinking of for some time: which of the main cast was your favorite?

Lulloyd?

Harumi?

Mage?

Over?

Monty?

Prime?

Ophiod?

Oni?

I'll say that my favorite character concept was certainly Over. I loved devising this 'evil' version of Lloyd that wasn't just a pure evil character, and I think in the end he certainly had the most nuance and depth of them all. But my favorite to write was always Monty. Writing a character that essentially has given up on his destiny and instead has simply decided to live as a gruff bounty hunter, to me, made for incredibly fun natural conflict and dialogue. I also will mention writing Monty the entire fic without swearing was a challenge, but a welcome one I think also paid off. I love each of them, obviously, but I certainly have my favorites.

With that said, who is your favorite?
