He dropped in just after Roll got through most of her cleaning. Sorry... It’ll be a bit more cramped than I thought, but I’m sure it’ll be okay! Come on over whenever you're ready! Just let us know before you leave.

His brothers got mad sometimes, sure, but they've never reached Snake levels of angry. Rock winces at the thought, now honestly kind of worried. 

► I know it's okay with me!! You're my friend, and if you say Magnet is nice, then he's welcome too. 

► Dad's kind of busy working on X right now, but I'll ask him when he comes up to have lunch. And I'll ask Roll and my big brothers, too. Even if there's no room here at the lab, I'm sure Dad will help you guys find somewhere else that's safe to go.

► What kind of games does your brother like? So Roll and I can set up and we can all play together when you're over! He likes Mario Party, right? That's a game all four of us could play!! 

► ...Er. What happened, anyways? Was there an argument?

Rock? I need to ask you something. It's ... pretty important.

► Shadow? I haven't heard from you in a while... You know, being grounded doesn't mean you can't talk to your friends.

"It’s…" Shadow Man swallowed, squeezing his optics closed briefly before meeting Flash’s gaze squarely and firmly. "I’m.. aware of the block placed on me to… to keep me in the fortress," he said slowly. "And… I understand the principle behind it. Keeping out of contact for so long was… unwise.” Stupid, even, but he was picking his words with care, here. "But…" Shadow’s composure wavered, and he took a synthesized breath to steady himself before continuing. “I think I may need to… leave for a while, again. To take Magnet somewhere… He.” Well, if anyone knew what had happened who wasn’t a ninja with secret surveillance all over the fortress, it was probably Flash, who had legitimate surveillance all over the fortress. "…I don’t think he’ll feel safe here, after… after what happened. But I don’t want him to go alone. I - … could you… remove the block? So I can… look out for him? Please?"

Flash figured out where this was going. Much like he had legitimate surveillance across the fortress, Shadow was likely to have his own surveillance. He was bound to have seen what had happened, and reacted accordingly.

"I tend to agree, I don't think he'll feel safe here either. He'll most certainly be relieved of his duties until he feels safe again."

Then there was the subject of what to do with Shadow. Flash was of the opinion that his punishment had gone on long enough, but Snake didn't share that point of view. At this point, any opinion Snake had carried no weight, not with his violent outburst. He could see the slight waver Shadow had had in his composure, and he figured something must've happened between the two of them. With all that he was currently dealing with, he was in no mood to put up with this.

"I'll remove the block from you and consider you relieved as well," Flash said and he opened the network within his processor. "Just come back when you feel it's safe."

Shadow would receive the message that his restriction was lifted in about two minutes.

"Flash? May ... may I speak with you?"

"Of course. What’s the problem?"

Flash Man had a bad feeling it was about Snake Man. He had seen what Snake had done to Magnet Man on the security cameras, but he didn’t do anything since they had gone right to Dr. Wily. He figured their father would sort things out from there.

Shadow thinks over that message for a few minutes before responding. With a sigh, he pillows his head on Mr. Froggie and adjusts his grip on his game as he goes over what to say.

► [Actually, I… ran into Snake. My quest got… cut short. And I can’t leave the base now.]

Rock is silent himself, frowning at the thought of Shadow's journey coming to an unexpected halt. He'd been so excited to go on that adventure and find himself a purpose! (Even if that purpose would ultimately contribute to Rocks' defeat.) For a moment Rock wonders if this was his fault, as he'd encouraged Shadow to set out in the first place. He's actually set his game down for a moment, more focused on Shadow.

► 「You got grounded? Oh geez, that's awful... They were that mad?」

…Since when had Shadow Man of all people been online? It’s been quite some time since he's last heard from him! He's been too busy on his quest to play Pokémon! But a quick glance down at the PSS verifies that yes, his friend from the DWNs was indeed around and wanted to play.

He doesn’t answer that query just yet, instead drafting a message to send.
