Dream Trip: To bed. NO LMAO UHH my body makes me afraid of travel in general (and my brain makes me afraid of travel altogether), but I’d really love to go see Michelangelo’s David in Florence one day.

Play Any Instruments?: I was a shit trombone player in middle school, and I had guitar lessons once a week for less than a year in hs and was shit at that, as well.

Random Fact: The first time I did some true semblance of cosplay (of an OC, as it happens KSFHSH), it was the morning after xmas. I was trying to get some pictures of it outside in the snow in the empty lots past the woods behind my house. But, on the walk back to the house, I kept having to kneel down in the snow because my blOOD SUGAR WAS SO LOW THAT I KEPT ALMOST PASSING OUT. IN A BRIGHT ORANGE WIG AND A MULTI-COLORED ANORAK. I made it into the house and wanted to just lie down on the kitchen floor HAHA but my mom got me up and fed. And that’s the story of my first cosplay.

Lance was avoiding eye contact with Hunk as he was wrappingthe bandage around his arm. He knew that some point soon, Hunk was going toopen his mouth and lecture him about how reckless he was, how self-sacrificialhe always was, how he needed to stop doing this because he was going tocontinue getting seriously hurt. It was always the same spiel, and it was goingto come to him some time soon.

When Lance moved slightly, pain shot through the wound onhis side, and he instinctively winced. He expected that to be the cue for Hunkto lecture, but instead, “Do you need to get into the cryopod?”

Lance glanced up at Hunk and crooked an eyebrow, “You’re notgoing to tell me?”

“Tell you what?”

Lance rubbed the back, back to avoiding eye contact, “That Ineed to stop sacrificing myself for others? That I need to stop getting myselfhurt? You know, the usual lecture when this happens!”

“Lance,” Hunk sighed, putting the cotton ball down, “Youknow what I always tell you, so why do you always do it?”

“I…” he began, “I don’t know, babe. I just…didn’t want tosee anyone hurt, and I just…moved.”

“Lance,” Hunk took Lance’s chin and forced him to look athim, “No one wants to see you get hurt either.”

“I know that,” Lance said, “But…”

“But what?”

“You guys are needed more than I am.”

“Lance, please,” Hunk said, “Not this again.”

“Oh, come on, Hu—”the pain from the wound on his side promptly silenced him, and he pressed hishand against it, eyes shut tightly.

“Okay, nope,” Hunk stood up and slowly helped Lance get upon his feet, “To the cryopods for you.”

Lance simply nodded, not having any energy to argue. Hunktook Lance’s unharmed arm, wrapped it around his neck, and placed his otherhand on Lance’s waist. They exited the hangar, and Hunk made a mental note topick up the first aid supplies as soon as he rested Lance in the pod.

“But really Lance,” Hunk began, “All that stuff your braintells you? About how you don’t contribute to the team? None of it is true atall. You know this, right?”

“Yeah,” Lance said lowly, “It’s just…It’s hard not tobelieve it.”

“But you know none of it is actually true,” Hunk said,eyebrows furrowed, “We need you here. And to be honest…” he trailed off for afew seconds, which prompted Lance to look at him, “I don’t know what I would doif anything were to happen to you.”

“Hunk,” Lance said, but Hunk continued.

“You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, Lance.Every time this happens, I get scared. Who will I spoon at night? Who’s gonna helpme make sure I don’t accidentally say the wrong thing to Keith again? Who’sgonna hold my hand when things get intense on missions?!” with each passingquestion, Hunk’s grip on Lance’s waist tightened and noticed right away whenLance flinched, “Oop, sorry honey, I’m sorry…”

“It’s okay,” Lance said as they entered the medical bay, “I’mokay now, alright? That’s all that matters.”

“Hmph,” Hunk pouted, “Just…before I put you inside the pod,I need you promise me you’ll be more careful from now on.”

“I promise, babe.”

“Pinky promise!”Hunk emphasized with a raised pinky finger.

Lance chuckled, ignoring the effect this was having on hiswound, and wrapped Hunk’s pinky with his own, “Pinky promise.”

“Good,” Hunk leaned to give Lance a soft, chaste kiss whenhe sat him down on a chair by the pods, “Don’t move while I go get thethermalsuit, okay?”

ok, lets go soft comfort for the prompt. Ginny, Luna, and Neville taking a study break by the lake and playing charades with the Giant Squid.

I wasn’t really sure how to write them playing charades with the squid so I hope this is alright!

“You know, they say that the tears of a giant squid can cureparalysis,” Luna remarked, skipping a stone across the lake.

Neville looked up from his Herbology textbook while Ginnysighed. “We could test that theory if you want, Luna,” she said dryly, pullingout her wand. Neville’s face grew even more horrified. “Oh, I’m kidding,Longbottom!”

Luna giggled, pushing her hair back behind her shoulder. “Thankyou for the offer, Ginny, but I believe I will pass for the time being. Anyway,we’ve gotten his attention- who wants to go first?”

“I guess I can try…” Neville answered, pushing the bookaside. “So… how exactly am I supposed to play charades with the squid?”

“Act something out, and if it surfaces, it means that it hasan answer!” Luna explained cheerfully.

“Doesn’t mean much when we can’t communicate with the bloodything…” Ginny mumbled. “Any chance we could convince one of the grindylows tocome up and translate for us?”

Neville shook his head. “Unfortunately, we can’t. Even if wehad some gillyweed, they can’t speak English above water.”

Luna shrugged. “Not knowing makes it all the more fun… butif you’d rather do something else, we could.”

Ginny grabbed her wand and muttered “aguamenti!” under herbreath. A stream of clear water gushed from the tip, which she trailed acrossthe squid’s back. “It seems to enjoy us giving it a bath. Do either of youhappen to know a spell for making soap?”

“Accio soap!” Luna cried, causing Neville to shake his headonce more. Much to his surprise, however, a bar of soap came flying from thedistant Ravenclaw tower. “Ah, I think this is Padma’s soap… I hope she doesn’tmind.”

As the girls began to magically wash the squid, Nevillereturned to his reading. Trevor crawled out of his pocket to enjoy the sun.

For a moment, they forgot about Harry, about Voldemort, aboutSnape running the school. They forgot to fear.

hi! so i had a quick question. I want to sign up as both an artist and a writer, but my skills as a writer are significantly better than my skills as an artist. If I apply as both and don't make it as an artist can I still contribute as a writer or is it a package deal?

Hi I signed up for the artists slots last night and I check the box that said I would be willing to be on the waitlist, I still am, but does that mean I'm automatically on the waitlist even though I signed up on time or I'm on the waitlist to do more pieces for other fics in case of drop outs ?

Hi there!  How our wait list works is that if the slots are full and you checked that box, you are automatically put on the wait list in case of drop outs.  If you got in on time, you will only be responsible for the one piece of art.
