One thing I'm really curious about is the babies plot in the Mario Galaxy Movie. Like, how the heck did it happen? Then I thought it was probably Kamek's doing. Rewatching the TV spots with Baby Mario and Baby Luigi, I noticed tiny Bowser is nowhere to be seen, so I think that at some point in the movie, the bros are ambushed by Bowser Jr., he manages to get his dad back and Kamek turns the bros into babies (either by accident or just because). With the heroes out of the way, they return Bowser to his original size and both father and son are ready to conquer the universe together.
Now, since I've been thinking about this a lot, I've created a hypothetical scenario about how this could happen.
Picture this: Kamek uses his wand to cast a spell and shots the ray to both Mario and Luigi, and all that's left of them is their clothes scattered on the ground and two smoldering caps.
The Magikoopa leaves and Toad and Yoshi start mourning their friends, only to notice something moving under the clothes. That's when they find the two babies unharmed between their now too baggy clothes.
It all could happen in the galaxy where the T-Rex is or probably somewhere else before they get stranded there.
Another thing I noticed, is the diapers the babies are wearing kinda give me vibes of Toad's pants. Maybe he uses some spare pairs he carries in his backpack to make diapers for the little ones? Or maybe I'm crazy and they're just random pieces of cloth 😆
I'm also curious about how they're gonna turn them back to normal; either they go ans steal Kamek's wand or force them to turn them back, Rosalina (or the Lumas) gets involved, or they use something else. Whatever the solution is, and since this is an Illumination movie, once they turn back into adults, either they magically appear fully clothed (despite having lost their attires when turned into babies) or they appear naked, only conveniently covered by stuff in the environment.
Anyways, wouldn't it be adorable to have a scene with Yoshi holding both babies? 🥹 They took care of the dino, now he's gonna take care of them 💚
