it's never actually said how popular simon's "circum venting" podcast is. the closest we have to any kind of statistic is this image of his poll results

if it doesn't display decimals, this means that at the very minimum eight people voted in this poll - if this is true, then the no was almost definitely spencer, and two of the seven yes votes were probably simon and gavin

simon mentions to loretta that he knows someone who runs one of the fan sites - he's probably talking about himself, but again there's no telling of how popular said site is. i reckon that if simon's podcast was one of the more popular ones then he wouldn't have to give out wordsearches and badges as prizes. i'm not well-versed in podcast culture but i don't know if that's something a really popular host would do
