Why do I always feel so stupid after I have let someone else into my life?
Greetings. What is a healthy and balanced Fi in INTJ like?
Thank you for this question. A healthy and balanced Fi would manifest in INTJs as:
- A strong and unwavering set of morals. In a healthy INTJ and due to the constant questioning approach of the type, these morals would probably be the final conclusions of a well-thought mental process in which different perspectives and angles have been taken into consideration.
- A strong connection with the inner self. INTJs are individuals with a rich and deep inner world, however unhealthy individuals will perceive this depth as a constant source of deep melancholy, uneasiness and even sorrow. A healthy INTJ will use their balanced Fi to stay in sync with their personal truth.
- A good acknowledgement and acceptance of their emotions. As much as the “evil, cold, has no clue about emotions” INTJ stereotype has gone way too far, I think it is accurate to state that it is rather common for INTJs to feel bewildered, uncomfortable and frustrated towards their feelings, even more so when they appear as “illogical” from a purely rational perspective.
Post Party Depression?
A question for all the INTJs out there and other MBTI types who might share this experience. Does anyone else ever go out, have a good time, get jiggy with it, only to return home and be overcome with a wave of emptiness and depression? The night was good, you haven't drunk anything, and there are no negative repercussions of the party but you are suddenly so very sad. It gets weirder because I usually love my own company, and am not easily saddened by such things. It is quite a phenomenon for me and makes me ask myself every time I go out partying why I even bother. P.S. This doesn't usually happen with get togethers or hanging out with friends, only after large events or crazy parties involving loud music, dancing, etc. Could this be a side effect of inferior Se overload??
The Curse of Intuition
Imagine being able to arrive at a conclusion or an answer without having to think about it or sometimes, without even having to ask the question yet. Intuition as I have been aware is exactly what that is. Even as a child, this has been a part of me readily available at my disposal without me realizing it exists. In a world where practical data is being given much more importance than those invisible to our eyes, the thriving of intuition is hampered.
Stop encouraging me
I'm an INTJ in my HSC, the Australian version of final examinations for all of high school. I don't know if this happens to other INTJs but do you resent encouragement? I hate it every time sometimes asks me how a test went. What do you want me to say? No I don't think I went the best in the state because I'm not that good? It was hard and stressful and now it's over which is nice but I'm not done yet? It was bad and I don't want to talk about it? WHAT VERSION OF WHAT I HAVE TO SAY FITS TO WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR?! Then when I say that it's all "But I was just showing interest in your studies" and "I want you to know I support you." ENOUGH! I don't want you to ask me about it regardless if I did well or poorly! I don't want you leaving me 'goodluck' messages. Stop popping in to ask me how I'm doing. Stop giving me that knowing look when I come home and saying "Don't worry, it'll be over soon." Of course I know that! Do you think I'm an idiot? If you want to help me stop attacking me with your barrage of feelings which don't care for mine at all.

Me: *diminishes every existing problem in my life so it looks like I don’t care*
People who doesn’t know me: IdKk hOooW TooOO CCaaRrEEE aBboOuuT YouUu WhEeEn YouUU’REee lIIiKeee ThIiIiiSSss
Inner me: what do you mean? It’s pretty obvious that I am a broken soul that doesn’t like to ponder my problems to other people.
INTJ and ENFJ talking about love
INTJ: it’s like I know the signs a guy gives when he’s interested, such as looking into the eyes and tiling his head, the body is turned to the person and he tries to imitate the person he likes.
ENFJ: Yeah, it’s hard to tell what the exact signs are. But from what I’ve experienced you can really see that; if he leans toward a wall, I’d do it too; the connection in the eyes are also very special and really hard to explain.
INTJ: yeah, I could understand that. But the problem is, when I say that I want to “try” this on ENTP, I always forget what the signs are. And because I usually don’t notice the details :)
ENFJ: *laughs*
Se, The Best Inferior?
I have thought this for a while and am very interested to hear what other people have to say on the matter: Do INXJs have the best inferior? Inferiors are nearly never a good thing to notice but some are far more detrimental than others. Inf Fe looks exhausting, Inf Ni is scarily dangerous, Inf Fi is kind of sad, but Se isn't all that bad. It's worst trait is probably that it is a 'lazy' inferior. It's like a grabby child demanding sweets and naps at in opportune times but is rarely harmful. We also are not often outdoorsy or exercise junkies but that's no crime or heavy burden. Name a better inferior to live with, I'll wait.
