Charlene!

I had her on my list for new photos for a while (only one doll left on that list, yay) - she may seem cute but she isn’t. She is the cruel master mind behind the C-Siblings, she is the oldest but stopped aging due the fact she used too much of her curse given abilities. And she forces her brother to use his as well, for now he doesn’t know but .... he notices changes .. like his fingertips turn purple, even though he doesn’t use his curse??? Well..

Niuniu with Bun

We continue with the Junzhe Extended Universe with Zhang Zhehan's character Xu Jin, from The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion.

Xu Jin has been affectionately nicknamed Niuniu, or cute little girl, by the Chinese fandom because he is indeed so cute!

I haven't managed to make any more progress in The Legend of Yunxi, which I am stubbornly trying to finish before moving on the The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion. So, I'm not sure what scene this adorable little guy comes from.

I do, however, know that you can see this particular outfit in Episode 3, so here it is:

I'll have to find pictures of the actual scene. More to come, once I switch over to this show, and update this post.

In the meantime, our hungry cutie was set with buns in both hands for the long ocean trip from China to the US. He arrived perfectly in his little protective case.

As cute as he is, he can't stand up on his own for anything. The only way he's standing up is if he's leaning backwards on something. He immediately had to go on a standee to take these pics.

And he is super cute. Enormous eyes and adorable little mouth! That's a tasty looking bun he's got there.

There's some really nice detail on the print on the robes here. It's sharp and clean.

His robes don't extend past his boots, which is nice because I always like seeing the detail on the shoes, but floor-length robes usually help stabilize the figure to stand better. He doesn't have their help here, and it definitely contributes to his wobbliness.

Along with the crisp detail on the robe pattern, his guan was modeled very nicely as well.

You can kind of tell by his extremely cute head here that he's a bit overbalanced to the back.

Adorable. Look at that little nose and face!

Very light blush on his face here, which looks good. I don't mind a little bit more, but I also like it subtle. They definitely did more blush on the fingers, which was a good call so they contrast a bit more from the bun.

We're back around. What a total cutie. I like the detail of the pinching at the top of the bun in his left hand (right for us!). I really love how the fig maker echoed the pattern of his robes in his beautiful big eyes.

He has really nice wider feet too - bummer he doesn't stand on them so well! At least it was easy to put the fig stickers on them, which are a bit wider themselves. You can't see here, but he has black pants on.

A good look at the silver decoration on his guan, and also a nice look at the filling in that chomped-on bun!

His cute little hairstyle from the back.

We didn't get box artwork for this fig, but we did get a beautiful box card. He's just adorable!

I'm not a very well known bjd owner, so I won't be able to get a lot of reach on my posts (and bjdconfessions is currently closed ). BUT I'm also very very interested in dollzones new event dolls, and I've already written them about buying them separately, no luck though. I'm writing because I'm hoping more people will write dollzone, hopefully they'll give in if enough people write them. . Sorry for reaching out to you, but you're the only one who allowed me to be anomyous

We could maybe set up some sort of petition for this although that might be a little too formal?

it would definitely help and be beneficial to persuading to get some sort of show of hands on how many people would be interested in purchasing LuoLuo and/or Niuniu directly

ADAW 47/52 - Curse

“As Charlie woke up he couldn’t remember what happened the night before. As usual, he wasn’t able to remember most of the time. He always feared that it had to do with his sisters taking control over him. With Charlotte being able to control a human’s body against their will and Charlene being able to control a person’s mind that thought wouldn’t be far off. But this curse came with a condition, you will not age anymore and your skin would slowly turn into a non-human color. Charlie was cursed too, along with his sisters. He decided to no to use his ability to move objects with his mind, he didn’t want to tun into a freak, like his sisters. But this morning Charlie discovered his hands were slowly discoloring... it was clear his sisters were using him, without him knowing. Charlene tried to calm him down, telling him it wasn’t a bad thing, he should use his powers. “I don’t want to be a Freak”, Charlie yelled. This only summoned Charlotte “Shhh, Charlie.. everything will be fine”, she said, and Charlie’s mind slipped into darkness once again. Maybe forever for this time.”

The C-Siblings are interesting characters over all, Charlene and Charlotte using their brother to break into houses and steal without leaving a trace and traveling around with the Freakshow they live in... Charlie is the only one of them who is a pure soul and doesn’t deserve to be used, but his power is just too useful for his sisters, they will never let him go.

It took me forever to dye his hands and it took me even longer to show them. This photoshooting is not as pretty as other ones but more important regarding their storyline.

Charlene is still a bit harder to photograph than her siblings because of her eyes being a bit odd (not the eyes but the holes were not correctly sanded by the company, I tried to fix it but they are still a bit wonky).
