Introduced in the 20 Year Celebration edition released in 2016, “Blood Ties” complemented the campaign narratively, expanding on Lara’s background and upbringing while debuting her ancestral home in the survivor timeline. This short adventure featured various references and easter eggs to previous titles including a stuffed T-Rex, a special letter from Winston, a golden rose, and many more.

Besides being able to step inside Croft Manor via virtual reality, an additional mode called “Lara’s Nightmare” was also included where we could fight our way through the mansion overrun by hordes of zombies!
