#NKBTBApril 12 : Inspiration 📚 #countdowntocandles 12 : Giggle Water 📚 I finished this book over the weekend. It seemed like the perfect read for the beautiful weather we were having here in Florida. It started off a bit slower than I usually like but turned out to be a beautiful coming of age story I can't wait for you all to read! 📚 It's definitely inspired me to try new activities, even if I might be a little uncomfortable. Also, the dialogue is hilarious. I love Anise's snarky sense of humor!

#DiverseBookApr 11 : Diverse Classic 📚 #NKBTBApril 11 : Memories 📚 When I saw both of these prompts for today's challenges, I knew I had to use The Jungle Book! This book was my first time reading the book, then watching the movie adaptation. I was given a copy by my teacher and read it over a weekend. Then, I discovered Disney had made it into a cartoon and begged my mother to rent it from Blockbuster. It started a long and unhealthy pattern of read-and-watch that continues still. 📚 What was the first book to movie adaptation you enjoyed both of?
