marisa’s originally from gold coast, though she has traveled a bit through her teenage and young adult years as she gets restless staying in one place for too long 

she is not particularly close with her family, but there’s no drama there — she’s an only child, she’s in contact with them when it’s necessary, but mainly she’s just a trust fund kid 

she’s the epitome of artsy fartsy, very driven by creative whims, prone to lectures on lighting, etc 

prone to lectures on a lot actually, she offers a ton of unsolicited advice — she wants to be a couples psychologist, didn’t you know ? she’s only told you ten times

i had lost muse for amy so i have revamped-ish / dropped her in favor of sav, who is similar in terms of track & profession, but her personality + powers have been updated mainly!! if we had existing plots for amy i’ll reach out to see if/how you’d like to tweak them 

savani has been at nl since she was about fifteen, her mom was a little bit in the running for worst parent and didn’t want to deal with sav’s grief over losing a sibling, nl was the easiest option to keep her fairly safe 

she only sees her family on occasion, mainly stays at campus since the majority of them didn’t know she was a demigod and, even now, she’s not sure how much her mother has told them

baby had some charisma to her and was still in her tdi vc i wanna be famous stage when she first got to nl so once she had the idea + opportunity to become an ambassador, she took it as a sign 

she’s still a streamer, still league bc what’s more toxic than a league streamer truly ? stream name tbd at a later date, but she also now plays valorant to balance some of the drama out & gta v to bring it right back in 

she’s got a goth gf vibe to her, but in the way that cartoons portray them — more e-girl aesthetic than goth, but lots of black and she’ll put chalk in her hair when she wants a change, especially for stream. it’s part real and part carefully curated, because she knew her audience would eat it up when she first started and she’s stuck to it

jade was adopted into the esmond family, a very old money type family who invested in stocks in the 1920s before it was really regulated and hasn’t really had consequences for any bad business decisions since 

her mother works for their family, board member type vibes

jade is their only child, very spoiled, never really was told no except to really ridiculous requests — she dropped out of college twice before coming to NL, and has since decided that she would like to be a trophy wife

kal wen was born in texas and ngl they kinda assumed everyone could change the colors of things until his dad explained to them that he Could Not Do That in kindergarten class bc it was his superpower so he had to keep it hidden, which was rly the best way to get them to take it seriously

as a child he was Incredibly Serious, like 100% of the time 

he still is as an adult although he’s got more of a dry sense of humor now — they still won’t be caught dead making a joke, but he certainly can’t help but smile @ stupid shit from time to time (he does have a good poker face tho)

hi i have no self control and i love my son so now we have remy <3 

remy was born in montreal in 1999, to a botanist father who was passingly aware that his mom was a Goddess™

given that his mom isn’t too particularly powerful, he grew up fairly normally, though the focus required to keep flowers from popping up in his presence was a little too high, so he was homeschooled for most of his life 

just before he was seventeen, he decided he wanted a bit of a change in pace, since he really didn’t have much interaction with people outside of his father and various tutors so his father allowed him to begin studying earlier at nl, with the hope that he would gain more control over his powers 

hint: he hasn’t much, but he doesn’t actively try to keep them down anymore and enjoys seeing the lil blooms appear — plus, it’s not nearly as extreme as it was when he was a kid 

remy generally is just a very laid back, positive person, gets along with most people, and has a kinda little brother energy to him? but like little brother that was raised by an older sister u kno? daily dose of respect women juice 

he had started in the hero track but he hated it <3 and cried a lot <3 so now he’s in tech bc he j wants to create things n now he’s a lot happier, even if nothing is ever Right by his books
